Congratulations to Coach Carter on his 1st win as a head coach and as a Patriot. I guess GCM should have won 14-7 since 72-7 is not impressive enough. Beat a bad team the way they should have. I guess New Caney says the same thing. I bet Humble ISD does not apologize for beating up on those teams to make the playoffs. Put GCCISD in the Pasadena district and let us print up some t-shirts. Ok. Time to move forward.

Just to wanted to insert some clarity into your preview for GCM. Coach Jones made the decision to step down on his own accord. GCCISD did not make this change. I like the energy I see at GCM right now. We will see if it translates to wins.

He is obvioulsy confused. Texas did not have two 5 A (star) QBs. That's their little brother. La Tech could have gone unnoticed as some lesser opponents have done during Herman's coaching tenure. Now, they have UT's full attention.

Ol' 11 finished up a great career last night. I was really pulling for him to win a National Championship. Just not meant to be. Classy as usual. Need more coaches like him.

You left out fathers with daughters. I pray that your daughter (or mine for that matter) is never gang raped by a group of college athletes. Then dragged through the mud by a university and it's athletic department in order to protect the "program". Hopefully she didn't "ask for it". Also, if the University of Texas was behind getting Briles fired, he would be buried under the prison. No half measures. Bottom line- Art Briles is a POS. Just my opinion.
