Lol, it's actually just the opposite. Information about player transfers has been taken off this site(I assume similar sites as well) and tried to be used punitively against transferring players during eligibility hearings. You're way too naive on the subject of THSF to understand any of that though. 
I don't claim to "know it all", I just happen to know exponentially more than you. However, numerous coaches from the SETXSports coverage area have DM'd me over the years to ask that I post stuff, ask that I remove stuff, tell me they love what I'm posting but can't like it, send me statistical corrections or just ask me a general high school football question. I was once even asked by a coach to write a letter of support to the TEA, which I obliged. I've had multiple parents DM me for recruiting advice and have been sent film to break down. I've even been asked if I would be interested in doing some freelance writing on THSF. 
Everything I've ever written about Crosby ISD hasn't been positive. I think the "powers that be" at Crosby understand that if I'm posting it then that's probably the majority of the sentiment. I've had at least one son in Crosby's football program since 2013 and can't even count the number of times their coaches have referred to me as "14.2", as do may fans who know me. The only things they've ever told me usually involve expletives of affirmation. For instance, they love reading the stuff I say to you.   
I'm a real THSF guy SS, you're just a guy who watches THSF football. Never forget that. 

FYI, I trust what 14.2 posts on this site. I know how knowledgeable he is and he calls it straight. He definitely supports those Cougars but he's not wearing the red colored glasses like some of you think.

I don't think people really want TW there, it was a joke in response to KF89's comments. However, the people I show your post to really do think you're an idiot. They say people like you are the ones who give BH a bad name. I've never had a boss from BH but I have had several guys from later 20's to retirement age work for me and NONE of them have ever talked about "the quality of life in BH" as much as you do and these are guys who report/reported to me every work day. There ain't a lot of tech execs. or neurosurgeons living in BH, the people with sense understand that if they're working on the same unit or sitting in the same hall as you then y'all are probably more alike than different.  
I take/took jabs at Carthage, Manvel, Texas High, Huntsville, etc. I saw CE King's receivers' coach in the dollar store the other night and told him "You know we got y'all by 20, right?". Crosby and our rival Dayton used to legendarily go back and forth on here, Lil Tex could fire back with the best of them. That's because he was actually an avid high school football fan though, something you lie about being. The issue with BH, and not even really all BH fans but just you in particular, is that you're too naive on the subject of THSF to actually provide any real football analysis of your program. Your football knowledge is akin to the mother of the first chair in the clarinet section, which might actually be a slight to some of the PNG band moms. I'm not jealous of anything in the BH community because I can guarantee 90% of them ain't clearing it like this Crosby boy is. I'm jealous of the guys on this board that are living up on lakes and shooting dear off their front porch.
Go back and read your post, you never talk about anything football related outside of complaining about results. Every one of your post has to do with something with the administration, life in BH or a poorly supported rebuttal to one of the other posters who know 10X the football you do. I don't need or care to know the inner-workings of BH. What I can do though is walk down the hall or pick up the phone and have all 22 kids named that are currently at practice running with the 1's, along with injury reports and anything else I could think to ask. You can't, otherwise you would've mentioned the big news out of BH camp last week.

Seems like Crosby has become somewhat of a destination school for the free agents in NE Harris County. It's been requested that I not discuss our transfers in detail on this site anymore which I will oblige. All I'll say now is that West Texas Intermediate ain't the only thing getting exported our of the Permian Basin 

It's a polarizing issue, and I'd bet the underinformed pro life voters just heard "oh, Roe V. Wade was overturned" and assumed that there wasn't anything to vote about.  
But I also like the fact that (thanks to that crybaby Donald Trump), anytime an election yields an unfavorable result, the underinformed voters will yell "it was cheating, just like when my daddy lost in 2020." 
Facts don't lie... there was no widespread election fraud in 2020.

I’m a Crosby fan/parent so there’s nothing for me to like or dislike at BH. I just like to see kids get every opportunity possible and playing for a fully supportive staff is part of that. You kind of hit on it with your comment though. I think Abseck coming from Cedar Park has more adjusting to do to his personnel than TW coming did from Allen oddly. He’s not coming though so the subject is moot now. 
 
I’m hearing Crosby just picked up a 6’6” OLB from North Shore now so it’s probably a good thing we won’t have another high caliber PAPF to get through the system.

Looks like Crosby picked up another free agent last week. That makes it three that I know of this offseason. Running back from North Shore, receiver from GCM and now a DB from Spring. Think the DB from Spring could be a real contributor this year. If we could just get a 6'5" 275lb offensive tackle to sign with us we would be in great shape. The one we had last year will be playing on the defensive line next to our 6'3" 340lb nose tackle. 

I was/am worried about the trenches too. Somebody pointed out to me the other day though that we bring back something like 60 career starts on the o-line between the three returners. Was also told that 4 of the 5 current starters squatted over 500lbs during Spring workouts. I think the problem to us is that they don't look as imposing on the hoof as some of our other o-lines have in past. I think our three primary ball carriers are going to help with that though. 
I've been worried about the d-line every single year except like maybe '14, '15 and '21 but we always seem to sufficiently reload there. It's going to be virtually impossible to replace the Coop and Casey combination but we're so good at linebacker this year that we don't really need the kids to do that. They just need to keep our linebackers clean so they can make plays. That Summer Creek transfer is a game changer at the 2nd level. Keep in mind that we didn't see LaRive much this Spring either because of how well the baseball team was playing. We may not have Coop and Casey but I think we'll have a more talented defense overall. Definitely think they'll be faster which I think Coach Poth prefers over size anyway.

I’ve said it countless times over the years but two things I hate placing any value in are JV records and 7on7 scores. 
 
That being said, to somewhat break my own rule I’ll say based on what I saw yesterday at the 7on7 tournament in Dickinson that Crosby has more than sufficient talent to cover the losses at the skill positions from last year. The two places I was concerned were the defensive line and the secondary. Even with the loss of Kirkwood it looks like the secondary will be better overall. We’ll see about the d-line in Spring ball, which starts next week, but the LB core looks so solid with the Summer Creek transfer finally being eligible that we just need to find three guys to keep them clean vs a McCoy Casey type dominant replacement up front we were going to miss. 
 
Myles threw for 32 tds and 3 ints last year. When a kid knows he can take off and most likely pick up the first down it’s hard to get him to take more chances with the football. However, I would gladly take two additional interceptions added to that total if it meant the opportunity for another 8-10 touchdown receptions by our receivers. 40 tds and 5 ints doesn’t sound that bad. 
 
As long as we stay/stayed healthy Crosby was going to be in good shape this year just due to the talent in this range of classes we have playing varsity right now. Depending on how the line of scrimmage shakes out between Spring ball and Fall camp, we might be in very good shape. 

I remember the playoff game in 2015 between Beamont Central and C.E. King.Central had a RB Devwah Whaley who later played at Arkansas.C.E. King was playing without Traveon Williams RB who played at A&M and now in the NFL.The 1st half belonged to Whaley as he carved up the Panthers defense.Leading 21 -12 at halftime Central looked as if they would defeat my alma mater.The second half, we asked ourselves why aren't they giving Whaley the rock.I know I would have .Last Central play was a fumble rolling around in the Central backfield and a Williams less Panthers won 32-31.When you have a stud like Whaley,who King couldn't stop in the first half, give the kid the rock and go with the kid that got you there. 

Crosby is the only team in the district that finished above .500 that also brings back their starting QB. Myles had the best statistical season for any QB in Crosby's history last year, if he improves the way Walter, Cotton and Howard did between their junior and senior years I don't think Crosby will lose any regular season games. Walter, Cotton and Howard went a combined 28-2 during the regular seasons of their senior year.
I think the benefit of having an additional year of practice over the last two seasons will really show this season. Crosby's average margin of victory in district play was 33.3ppg last year and I really don't see that dropping much this year. That long bus ride to PA is going to suck though.

Actually, Stepp said he was only 99% sure of that. Honestly though, at this point in Crosby's progression I would just be happy about any class we play in where we can avoid the slot-T. 

If they are staying in 5A its going to be tough for them. They will need an up and coming high energy coach and tons and tons of patience. That is a fine school and community down there. I wish them all the best.

We'll see how the new coach works out at Cedar Park but right now as far as I'm concerned all we have to do in the D1 playoffs is get past Manvel to make another run to the dance. Over the next two years we'll definitely have the personnel to do it too.  

I think if AJ plays on the d-line it's because we need him to, meaning we're "short" bodies on that side of the line of scrimmage. I think Coach Poth wants to play fast and be able to rush the passer from the interior, AJ is more of a run stuffer at this point in his development which is why you saw him play so much against Liberty Hill. I think he has potential 4-star ability at guard though, kid was moving furniture considering he was a freshman.
I think Langley is going to play d-end which has been his more natural position since I've been watching him in little league. Awesome athleticism but he needs to little more of that dog mentality his brother has if he's going to be the Tyler Cooper type player we need him to be next year. I think a lot of the personnel placement will have to do with who we get in free agency this offseason too though.  

Was looking at some mocks ahead of realignment in regards to how Crosby would fare if we stayed in D1 and it actually looks very promising. If we could win the district we would basically flip-flop sides of the bracket from where we played in D2 in 2021.
Crosby would play in 9-5A-D1 so our bi-district would be HISD schools like the past two years in 12-5A-D2. If you played from the #1 position in the district you would avoid a potential district champ like Manvel or Cedar Park until the 3rd round. Manvel and Cedar Park are also the only two teams predicted to come back to the region that made it to the 3rd round last year with Paetow and FB Hightower moving to 6A. 
Long road ahead but with what we have coming through the program the next two years don't be surprised if Crosby wins four consecutive regional titles. I don't think there will be a whole lot of difference in competition between 2nd-4th round games in 5A-D1-R3.
