I was there to root for C.E.King but I was really impressed with Jaguar #42 DL Reggie Boseman.He was in the Panther backfield all night long.Good Luck next year 22-5A trying to block this young man.

Tragically, Manor lost a student athlete early in the week in a traffic accident. Lance Thomas was a Manor football player and wore #8. 
On the first play of the game Friday, Coach Van Meter put Hutto's #8, Antonio Luna, in to take the snap. 
Once the ball was snapped, all of Hutto's players took a knee, including players on the field and sidelines, in honor of Lance Thomas. 
Antonio Luna then ran the game ball over to Manor's coach, who then escorted him into the stands to present the ball to Lance Thomas's mother. 
Hippo Nation sends thoughts and prayers to the family of Lance Thomas and to WAMM Nation.

Well, Tray Williams de-committed from TCU last night. Look like it's Aggie or Bevo now with probably an Aggie lean. With Williams and Whaley probably being Aggie's top two running back targets on the board, I'm sure you'll see A&M represented on the sideline Thursday night. 
 

I would think that as long as Crosby has a " Sqwirl " scoring TD's for Crosby,Riordan may want to hold off on the moving vans

I still don't know why he would leave even then? He's got another stud, SEC style running back coming through the program and perhaps his best qb. Lots of size coming with them too. What 5A job can you really put above Crosby right now? Especially when you include the compensation and knowing it'll eventually be 6A. I would imagine he would have to take less compensation to move up and coach most 6A's.

Glad to hear he is recovering well.. Class act for all the folks on here to respond... Its times like this that you realize aside from all the BS and bashing, the most important thing is that these kids stay healthy and go on to become healthy men and women....... Prayers out for a healthy recovery...

To address the people who want to get so upset because I can and will call anyone out on what they say. I can hang with anyone on the trash talk. But making it personal and vulgar (I might add) is beyond being an adult. childish really.  And the reference to me getting on all the Crosby threads LOL... Not even close. That statement was made in reference to me saying a few weeks ago that it didn't matter who was playing cougar14.2 would ALWAYS have to mention Dayton. FACT!  I go out every single Friday Night and walk the sidelines to take photos of the KIDS.WHY!? Because they love looking at their photos. And I love doing it for them. Working for the local paper is just a bonus. I would still be walking up and down the sidelines taking their photos if I didn't work for the paper.  While the rest of you are sitting in your nice little cushy seats watching the game with a WAY better view. 
 
   Now getting to why I am on THIS thread.... Let me explain again. King is my school. That is where I went to school. From 2nd grade all the way through high school. And I WILL root for them. I don't give a rats booty what thread it is on...

There are a lot of teams Texas that don't have titles that produces tons of talent. I used to play for one. North Shore from 93-97. Crosby has become a very relevant team in the last 5 years. What do you consider a good team? How many years do you have to be relevant for you to allow someone to brag about how good their team is or how many kids will be playing at the D1 level for that graduating class? I guess I'm not understanding what your issue is with hometown pride. Crosby fans aren't doing anything different then what Vidor, Dayton, WOS, or any of the golden triangle teams do. The real problem is that Crosby was so irrelevant for so long and was the butt of all football jokes that now, other teams fans have nothing to say but how much we boast about our little football team. It happens, get over it. Perhaps your team will be on the up and up one day and others will allow you to yell from your mountain tops as loud as Crosby is right now. These kids and parents (me being one of them) enjoy watching all of our Crosby kids that have busted their butts to prove that they are relevant season after season are enjoying every minute of it and for you to come on here and take it all away because we don't have a "title" just kills me. 

Gimme Stew back for 5 yrs(pay what he's earned,build something to honor him)kids will come in lg.numbers=he'll make kiddos into atheletes w/eye for talent/college offers=build it,they will come & once rowdy fans will pack the home side again incl fans thru out local area= I'd bet the Gene pool kids from old school fb be right on time shortly

I have seen Dylan Moore play twice this year and I think he is an awesome ‌‌2-WAY player.You could easily throw his name in the conversation for Dayton.

Last night's loss by Barbers Hill more than likely sealed Crosby and Dayton's fate as the D2 Representatives.

Future opponents will want to study this film with watchful eyes.With King's big play ability it doesn't take the Panthers long to score.But hold that down and looks like anyone can beat the Panthers.King has been kind of a Helter Skelter kind of a team so far.We never know what team is going to show up.That unfortunately doesn't work come Playoff Time.
