Take the quarterback out of the picture on any High School team and 90 % will experience what the Indians are experiencing.With you're history,and I've watched Port Neches Football since the early 70's,the Indians will rise again. Just remember the sea of purple that filled 2/3 of the Astrodome in the 70's.Indians back their kids.

Watch for the trick play Flanigan used at Crosby.Used it about 3 times in one year and it worked every time.Had Merka take a quick snap and hit a streaking receiver down field.Has the QB Dunn to pull it off.I guess we'll see how good Santa Fe is,a one point loser to Tomball last week.Flanigan teams sometimes are slow Starting.Dunn too good for the Indians secondary 23-13.

Get READY Dayton secondary,because Soph. Luke Grden is coming to town.He destroyed Dayton's secondary last year as a Freshman.I watched him this year destroy a 6A Clear Lake defense in a scrimmage.# 26 at RB will run through you,around you,or if that doesn't work,he will try to run over you.Nice small back.Friendswood defense was hurt by Clear Lake on the corners.If Santee can get to the corners Dayton may keep it close.Dayton's quick screens might also work.Friendswood by 14.

New Defensive Coordinator's son looks like an awesome replacement for Zack Simon,who looks to return to the running back position.His Preps films look great.Should solidify an already solid secondary.

Someone said they knew of 4 transfers along with 5 returning on offense and 8 returners on defense should help the reload at Crosby.May have to wait for 2019 to see a rebuild at Crosby.

Looks like Friendswood has given 5A numbers.Because all their district games are all within 30 minutes travel , can they have an option to stay in 6A,which I think could very well be an option they would consider.If not,what district does anyone think they could fall into?? Friendswood has a very talented QB who will be a Jr. next year.He would make even bigger noise in a 5A district.

2016 Dave Campbell's Texas Football Magazine has FB Marshall the smallest in 23-5A .I think they go by Numbers at realignment.I could be wrong .

QB & rb back next year and should fall under Division II alignment.

Somehow Crosby has a knack for missing extra points.Been following Crosby since my grandson played in 2008 - 2010.Amazing these kickers make All District but miss soo many extra points.

I live in Friendswood and was at the Friendswood/Dayton scrimmage.I did not see any 4.5 receiver for Friendswood.What I did see was some TALL receivers that used their bodies to out muscle the Dayton DBs for the ball.Dayton's Santee had a very good night running the ball against the Friendswood defense that was much bigger.Friendswood QB,I believe will be Karam.He is an underclassman ( soph.)??Reminds me of Payton Ploch of Dayton past.Chunky stature but will run the ball when needed.His brother was a great QB at Friendswood and I believe went to Texas Tech.He loves to throw the crossing pattern to them tall receivers.Dayton only scoring TD came when Dayton went to a hurry up offense and Friendswood could not substitute on the DL.I was not impressed with Friendswood's lack of speed which may play into Barbers Hill favor,if they have any?? That scrimmage seems like a month ago,so conditioning probably will be better on both sides.

You are right he was a bright spot for the Dayton Defense.Haven't see a Dayton Roster,need Bronco Pride or another Bronco fan to answer your question.
