1.
Heck what about North Forest being on the list. This team was a bottom dweller in 19-4A untill they moved to a weaker district. out side of the top 4 this is a joke
Like they had to throw in a HISD school.By looking at their schedule their record might be good ( all HISD ) but they'll be easy pickin's come playoff time.
 2. Who's the freshman receiver ? If it's Hudson isn't he a sophmore.I would think a freshman wouldn't get much playing time with Singleton,Lee,Allen,Hudson,Morales & even Kyle Williams at receivers.Maybe JV and bring him up later in the season
 3. Hoping everyone has a good scrimmage and everyone comes out with NO injuries.
 4. He's too busy watching Humble practice looking for another transfer, nothing left at King !!
 5. Crosby offense scored 17 times in a row.Defensive coordinator couldn't stop his own team's offense.Asked for a 30 minute break to go back over film so he could adjust his defense.  :o
 6. This guy is unreal ! Will be a turn off to college coaches !! Wish you luck son.
 7. It was lost in that last malfunction.Hopefully the same poster will repeat the great info.
That game was a disgrace to Texas High School Football. It should have never been that close. On the opening kick Crosby drove right down the field inside the 5 and they called two or three phantom penalties on us to back us up. Next there was a ''muffed'' punt Walter never touched, three refs got together and said Crosby ball while a single ref got super demonstrative flailing his arms pointing towards KP. The replay showed he never touched it. After that KP got a touchdown where the kid fell out of the side of the end zone on KP's side and was juggling ball, the kid never had it until he was laying on his back out of bounds. When they showed the replay even the KP fans went ''oooohhh'' because they know they got a gift. I bet we only had 3 possesions in the first half because of that horrible officiating. Somebody from Crosby even sent the tape to the UIL. Everytime we broke a run they called it back, both of the twins would have rushed for over 200 yards. KP was playing for their playoff life and it seemed like the refs knew it. Our o-line was blasting people of the ball and pancaking them and they called us for holding probably ten times. Throw in the phantom ''muff'' on the punt and another fumble deep in our own territory where Aston's knee was down and the refs were just a flat out disgrace to competition. Look at the penalty disparity and box score. Our kicker made his fg and theirs didn't, seemed like karma all worked out in the end. We'll blow the doors of KP in Cougar Stadium this year. [Hidden Content]
Have to agree with you on the officiating ! I was along the endzone fenceline when the TD reception was called. It wasn't even close.Still the Crosby defense was flat in the 1st half and couldn't stop the KP ground game led by 2nd string QB Ducoff.Again no defensive adjustments were made until the 2nd half.

 10.             1.Summer Creek             2.Crosby - Can't give the Cougars the top spot because of a Defensive Coordinator that can not make game time adjustments in big games. His defenses play either a 1st half or a 2nd half. ~~~ Manor             3. Dayton             4. Kingwood Park - Lewellan will be a 3 way threat. If coach doesn't freeze his own kicker with a timeout ~~ Crosby               5. Barbers Hill - Not convinced of defense - graduation loss may be too much               6.Humble               7.New Caney - Klingler & son will make a difference               8. C.E.King - Price plays for 14'               9. Porter - Loss of QB & no speed

They only have 2 QBS that even have the abilty to play Varsity QB Looks like there will be a duel between Aubrey and Padia who we only saw in the first half of Spring and from the look of Aubrey in 7on7, he is not ready! So who knows?
Actually, I've heard the opposite.  Based on the information that I've obtained, Aubrey will get the nod at QB and Padia (Tebow is what I call him) will play in the secondary on defense.
Will Hervey get snaps at QB?  ;D
baahaha...Hervey might get some snaps ? Wildcat? And as for Padia at DB I can see that happening i think he was at safety in the spring game but all im saying is if he is going with Aubrey than they must be thinking RUN Hervey right and run hervey left and run hervey up the middle cause if you saw 7on7 that passing game needs alot of work! and hopefully Aubrey has been working all summer to improve the timing with his receivers but if not good luck with that decision. Dave Campbell magazine has Padia at QB/DB and no mention of Aubrey...just saying :).....
They have Padia at QB because he was the starter last year and all are expecting him to start next year, but that probably won't be the case.  Aubrey has the better tools than Padia crime what I've been told by a very reliable source...
In 2009 Crosby, under Flanigan ran off 10 straight wins with a heavy ground game of Merka & Jakacy Evans who scored 25 Tds.The next year, without Jakacy,Merka threw for 2100 yards. It sounds like maybe a 2009 may be in store for WB.And also he will run right, left and up the middle with the read option.Hope Hervey can stay healthy and have a great year.

 14. Most of the scouting of upcoming foes is done by Freshmen and Jr.High coaches unless a bye week or Thursday night game comes into play.I don't think the idea of outside help will ever come into play on the high school level. The teams in the lower income districts would surely protest because they would not be able to use this resource, thus making a even greater unlevel playing field.
 15. Wouldn't it be wonderful that we All could be in this situation. My opinion is,If you,as parents got them that far,he or she will value your opinion enough to either know what you prefer or will come to you and ask.
 16. Sorry UIL,but Coach Foreman I applaud you.The hand signals pic proves nothing,he may be signaling his wife to get him a cold one. OOPS ! Well you get the point ! Could have been anything to ANYBODY !

Cole and Chase Harrell. Both kids are D-1 type prospects, will go good with the twins. Crosby may go deep.
What positions? Grade?
If your not familiar with Cole and Chase Harrell ("Spot and Dot"). The brothers played junior high football at Hull-Daisetta, then their mother found a better job and moved them to Huffman, now Crosby is rumor. Both are WR's, Cole is a senior and Chase a junior. Cole is 6'0 205 4.6 and Chase is 6'5 200 4.6. Both kids have the ability to play D-1 ball. Youtube their highlights. To bad H-D lost them. SMH
The younger brother Chase definitely will play D1. He had over 1100 receiving yards last year as a sophomore, Texas and Georgia are all over him. When they played 7 on 7 in Crosby earlier this summer Cole was playing qb so I didn't get to see what he really had at receiver but he looks good on the film i just watched. If the transfer thing is true then Chase would play opposite of Raelon giving us two 6-4 wideouts and putting 6-3 200lb Cullen Lee in the slot. Cole would play the other slot position giving us 4 receivers over 6' and in the 190-200 lb range. Sounds good for Austin who would almost certainly average over 10 ypc again with that many kids on the field having to be respected. We threw for nearly 340 on SC last year with a couple drops that would have changed the game and gave us well over 400 yards. That's not really our game but if we have these two kids it could be an option instead of the requirement it turned into last year. I hope it's true.
Cole was injured last season, missed half the season. Cole is a better route runner. Chase blew away the Texas coaches at camp this summer, at 6'5 200 he is a beast. Good kids, I have known them since their 6th grade year, they played junior high football with my brother at H-D. Both will play D-1 ball, wish H-D still had them. Crosby will be scary if they play there.
Word on the street is they're a couple of big softies.
I've watched these boys as freshman and sophomore. If they are softies,I'll take 22 just like them.DD has obviously hasn't watch them play.
 18. Wow ! That foursome would be scary.Could use some DL transfers. With all the offensive line depth Blackburn could return to the defensive line.
 19. First district game with Magnolia West should be a good one.For Magnolia West, look for the return of QB Brandon O'Neil, who was out last year with knee ?? injury,to add a passing game to the offense. He looked good in last year's scrimmage aganst Crosby. If coach Bell can find some receivers to complement O'Neil the Mustangs should be strong. The defense looks strong with District's Defensive MVP DE Xavier Jones and up to 9 other returners.
