In the eyes of every fans you are judged on the what have you done lately rule. Let's be honest with coaches from High School to Pros, you must win, you are judged by that. I feel if Matthews schemed a passing game into his playbook, his teams would have been difficult to beat over the years. However my hat is off to this guy on a great job. I enjoyed the games my sons played against him. Wish you much success coach.

The answer to that question is definitely still in the air.  The Annual Nederland Secret Spring game is a tradition dating back a few decades.  Surely this little pandemic wouldn’t  stop something as synonymous to Nederland Football...

I nevered counted out a team with the coach pedigree like the Thompson and what he accomplished. However there is something about his team this year that's not jelling. Maybe not enough varsity talent, and every team will have those type years sooner or later. I think this is the year of the Tiger to rule over the Mustangs. Can't predict a score but a Tiger win.

There's a former coach for Central that is now 0-15 as the HC at his new 6a HC job.  Had serious talent last year at Central and the other job that he toyed with in Woodville...  Well, those guys made the playoffs last year and are undefeated now with one of the premier players I'm SETX.  Happy sledding on the Military base.

Nederland's start in the last month of April until the start of the season..... 

However it's formulated and calculated, it adds up to a number, and NISD's is the lowest in the area.  Industry, no industry, bonds, whatever, it's the lowest and has been for a long time.  Folks in Nederland have been getting a really good deal.

Well, some like yourself say you don't want taxes increased a little bit to pass a bond.  Well, it don't really matter because the board, consists of mainly of old heads won't vote to pass one.  But, good things are coming to Nederland.  Those old heads are slowly dispersing and the younger guys will make some great moves.  I can't wait to see...
