I honestly think Memorial is the best team in district. Nederland 2nd PNG 3rd and Central 4th but we all know how it ended up. It can be a funny game. You have to show up every night ready to play.

It's becoming clear to me that he had a lot to do with the success of Nederland in years past as well. Nederland hasn't missed a beat. Just shows the faith that LN had in him to have complete control of the offense. I've always heard that LN changed his teams offense to match his strengths but I believe it's Monte who was making those changes. Congratulations to the coaching staff and Monte. Huge win and great game.

Think about how much better Memorial would be this year, had RJ been a Titian. They would be a state contender IMO.

I don't think the lack of attendance had anything to do with Valentines Day. I think it's more toward the fact that either team isn't very good. I think everyone knew Central was going to win that game.

Not impressed!!! I can find a dozen of players from SETX that would of scored 92 points in that game. If I worked for ESPN I wouldn't of even reported the points because of the manner in which he did it. Smh.

Yes, that's common in that situation. Just in case there's a bad snap or hold, you get another shot to kick it.

I have to agree with this! There is no doubt this is all on LN this year. I still think Nederland makes the playoffs with a Ozen win over Livingston.

Oh wow.. that helps them out. Well Kelly lost some of there depth but will be just fine with the addition of Pierre. I am sure they have a few good kids to come in off the bench. You need about 7 or 8 solid players.

How about Valsin (SP) Is he still at Kelly? I could see playing the 3,4 or 5 if needed or maybe even being a starter in place of Broussard.

Nederland scrimmages Crosby this week and plays WOS next week for the 1st official game of the season. I hope the dogs can keep it close but i don't see it happening. Nederland needs to find a QB ASAP.

Perhaps he didn't transfer to Silsbee for exposure in football but for a different sport. My guess is that why not play better competition in football but yet get a chance to win a state title in basketball.

I see that he has taken 114 threes in 12 games. That's almost 10 three point attempts a game. Thats a lot of attempts IMO.
