Wouldn't matter if it was Bill Belichick

The teams that are listed above as teams played last year are all teams that are listed in the tournament this year (except Kelly who is always a good team)
Maybe when the tournament bracket comes out and the Bulldogs are actually scheduled to play some of the new teams on there, someone could rightfully give praise a for tougher schedule than the previous year.  But at this time, there is no evidence that would make his claim have any merit what so ever.  They could conceivably play the close to the exact same people again this year.  
I once asked one of the winningest coaches in setx baseball history this question.  If you had four teams with the exact same kids from August until May, and you were the coach of one of them and had to play the other three in a round robin playoff in the first week of May, who would you least like to see coaching the other three teams.  Who could best prepare those other three teams to give them the best chance to beat you?
The guy that booster refers to as "previous coach" in his post above, made that list.
He even went as far as to say there was one part of the game that this coach was the best he had ever see at preparing his kids at, and that part alone makes his teams very dangerous.
I thought this conversation was worth mentioning.

I some what agree, When you got the athletes to go 10-0 it's easy, but when you got the athletes to go 0-10 it's still easy. 

Hardin wins in 3 over Kountze (25-11, 25-15, 25-20) in district play. 

No it would not that is the problem  It takes time to build a program, you can't expect a coach to come in and work a miracle in 2 years especially in the districts Hardin has been in.

Building a program takes time. Knowing him as personally as I do, I hope they give Coach Stark the time to do it, because he's one of the good ones. It may take a few years, but TRUST me y'all wont regret it....

You also have to have talent to win as well... I'm sure the guys in Hardin play their hearts out but sometimes you just don't have the talent.

Makes absolutely no sense. Great candidates have been contacted and interviewed, great facilities, great tradition, and yet they cant get a head baseball coach in Jasper. Makes no sense at all.

Kirkland left to come home. Kids go to Hardin & play sports in the area. Let's get that straight before there is any confusion.

Congrats to Andrew Lantrip of Livingston/UH.  Believe he went in 8th round to Cleveland.

rare to find a head baseball coach that's also a good football coach. Congrats to Hardin on snagging one of the few. Jasper's loss for sure.

Welcome back coach

Jasper's Head Baseball /Asst Football coach Robb Kirkland has landed back in Hardin Texas , after his Reg semifinals baseball season with Jasper came to an end vs. LCM last night. 
Hardin will have Coach Kirkland as an Asst OC in Football with other duties as well. He is welcomed back home with open arms. Great coach & man. 

Maybe my butt still hurts.... But all of this talk about luck and flips is old.  It diminishes what these kids accomplished. Also over the course of the year there were other pitchers who contributed. The kid who relieved  Mitchell pitched 5 scoreless against bc I think. I'm sure the kids appreciate the compliments but the talk about luck and flips make them seem almost backhanded. I'm sorry if I've taken this the wrong way and I'm sure  you will let me know if I did.

You agree to a one game playoff when you don't have pitching depth. Jasper was eliminated because they made errors and their pitching was off. Pointing fingers at the coaching staff is a poor excuse for the loss. You can't win a game with that many errors.

Congrats to Robb Kirkland. I knew these two Liberty alumni (baseball legends) would give it a helluva game.
I'm a die hard carthage bulldog, but I had to root for Jasper being that Robb was my HS baseball coach and is very deserving of this success.
