PNG might be able to stop our run but I don't think anyone can stop your run on sentences.

I think it goes to overtime with PNG scoring first and kicking an extra point. Then Vidor picks up 2 crucial fourth down plays on their drive, scoring with a passing TD. Coach Mathews rolls the dice and goes for 2, the Pirates pound it in and walk away from the Reservation with a hard fought 29-28 victory. Oh and the refs stink it up the whole game.

I just looked at both teams sch & results.  As of now, Vidor will be the first team with a winning record PNG has faced.  For whatever reason, their schedule has been very soft this year.  Vidor has played two, BH, which they'd rather forget about, and 6A Pasadena Memorial who they dominated.  Also, beating Ned at home, crippled, banged up and all, is more impressive than any victory PNG has had this year.  One common opponent, Lumberton, who PNG beat by 20, and Vidor beat by 23.
With that said, in a game like this, it's about match ups.  Imo, this year, no one in District can stop Vidor's offense completely (possibly PAM, but I doubt it).  PNG's passing attack should give Vidor's defense fits.  Everything points to a high scoring affair.  Another plus for the Indians, is home field advantage.  As always, there are factors like weather, turnovers, and Refs (calls or no calls, on either team) that could influence the outcome.  But all the known factors indicates a very close game.

That's good stuff right there... I miss getting Ws against LCM although there always seemed to be a fight in the parking lot afterwards when we played at their place. What is it with those folks? Always ready to fight somebody lol.

Believe me we are grateful you can keep your arrogance in Nederland & Port Neches. Like the way you dodged what I was talking about. The truth is hard to talk about isn't it. Glad you don't represent all of Nederland & Port Neches I've got some good friends and family that live there. By the way I am from Port Arthur.

If 1st string quarterback got kicked of the team before the season started then he really wasn't your 1st string quarterback. And 2nd string quarterback who is one your transfers from Port Arthur may not be eligible to play due to breaking uil rules then he was never your 1st string quarterback either. So that leaves you with whoever started last night which is your starting quarterback. Vidor has had there share of injuries at key positions the last couple of years an the games have came down to the last possession. Both teams played hard.

Vidor wins by 13 let's call it 27-40. I would go but last time I went to 'Raider Nation' the announcer nearly blew out my ear drums and I had just stepped out of the truck in the farthest parking lot. I think I will just stay home and sit out on the front porch I can probably hear him calling the game pretty clearly all the way from Vidor.

Good point, I remember the Vidor OC catching a lot of heat on these boards last season. Last year the play calling and execution looked terrible. I thought we just had a bad OC but look at us this season. Same guy at the helm and we are putting up 80 points lol. What changed? Some key players getting a little older and more experienced, a new quarterback and bang! The play calling and execution look on point this year. I think the same will happen for the defense, they will get better. The Pirates are good this year but they are still a young team and should be really good next season. If they could just clean up the turnovers, especially at key moments...

Actually I  don't think they was no worst then Ned coordinators on a few play calls. Vidor like I said has a scheme that's hard to figure, and Ned has a offense that has a lot of weapons. You get a gamble play and some games it plays in favor, and sometimes they don't. Robanadana you hard on DC coach, but it was a offensive turnover that actually cost the game.

I'm still trying to make sense of this moment of brilliance... Is it the part where Vidor looses next 2 or Ozen looses next 2? No way Ozen looses their next 2? All I know is that's a lot of loosening.
It would seem to me that Vidor needs to WIN their next 2 and Ozen needs to LOSE their next 2... I have seen stranger things happen but Vidor beating PNG might be a long shot. The Pirates should have taken care of business, beat Ozen and "loosened" them up a little.

Yea Neumann is a versatile coach that knows his personnel and can adapt his system to his players. I used to hate on Big Ned but at this point it's useless... Someone please beat them in a district game, just one... What has it been 4 years now? It's rediculous, district domination. Totally different mentality than Vidor who runs a system and the players must adapt to it. Their QB is an absolute beast though and any coach would be an idiot not to adapt a system that fits his skills.

I believe the whisperer Sh......... Was referring to the ignorant, cocky and brash remarks made in this thread by Bugatti about the Bmt kids out working everyone else in the league while our kids play "playstation". I do not personally know Bugatti and he may be a great guy, but the way he comes across on here... Is kind of the same way Lamar1996 comes across, a delusional fan and not a coach. But in reality he is more like the same as me, a dad that loves his kid, a coach that loves his kids. So I can see where some of his comments come from, we all have a rooting interest in this. That makes us all biased towards our kids/teams and there is nothing wrong with that. He is probably a great guy, Lamar1996 probably is too, if you were to meet them in person. I think this public forum in SETX Sports has proved a couple of main points in my eyes: it brings out the worst in people (we call it "flapping" or "having fun") and we all love our kids.

That is all for tonight, back to the Bud Light and watching the Saints at Cowboys. Love you all, football is a great game and good night.

Oh and one more parting thought...

JJ Watt is an absolute beast and a role model for all aspiring athletes. Walk on, to walk into the Hall of Fame. Dream big work hard kids. Go Texans!
