I kinda have the feeling it was MB's last. Just a gut feeling....I think he will step aside. With the season this year and ending the way it did, seems like moral is at an all time low. I wish only the best for Burnett...he's a good man. Mike Long coming back would be great! The Indians will be back, you can bet on that!

I was there last night, and it happened so fast. My wife taped the whole thing on our camcorder. I looked at the tape, not sure who's fault it was. There was so much confusion, both teams, coaches, and police on the field, it was mass chaos. Not sure if Burnett was punched, but very likely, maybe by accident if it happened. I think both teams should receive some form of punishment. We'll just have to wait on the UIL to decide.

I hope against Kirbyville....that would be sweet! ;D ;D ;D

This sounds great, but it takes two sides to tangle. Something has to be done. I think after the season, however, things will "heat" up at the Reservation, and changes will be made.

It will be tough for Lumberton to go into Nederland and come away with the "W". Even though, I think these two teams are well balanced and play their hearts out, I have to give the edge to Nederland. On the Brook/PAM highlights, I saw a Jumbotron. I think they have one now, Scooter. Memorial does have a jumbotron now. The Reservation is not cursed....even though I bet there are a lot out there that wish it were....! Get a life......! >

I don't think it will happen this year. There is still too much construction going on, moving all the equipment, etc. Just don't see it in the stars for this year. We can always hope!

I totally agree with you, Penny. PNG and Nederland are losing kids to Lumberton. I have more and more friends moving over there because of the school district and the sports. Whether people on this board want to believe it or not, as was mentioned earlier, Lumberton's youth programs are second to none. Lumberton will be the powerhouse in our district very soon. I applaud them and their coaches, teachers, parents that work so hard and are there for their students. Midcounty is going to have to change, and change SOON to keep these families in our area.
