I would expect about the same amount to make the trip to Beaumont. I plan on being at Stallworth Friday night even though their is a game at our stadium. I think the Dayton PNG matchup will be a better game to watch. I don't see Lumberton being able to stay in the game with Crosby.

I think the jist of the whole thing is that Ned fans always claim improvement after their bi-district losses, which is logical. The problem with that improvement is that even on a bad night you don't lose to a bad team late in the season. Crosby probably hasn't improved anymore than anybody else, but we were better to start with. 
Crosby's opening game in Nederland they gave up 278 yards and 18 points, after ten game they give up 284 yards and 18 points. On offense in the opening game Crosby gained 491 yards and scored 35 points, after ten games they average 468ypg and 40ppg. Crosby has just been solid from wire to wire. 
New Caney has also improved since their loss to King early in district play. They finished the season as the best offense in 21-5A and the second best defense. Not to mention they have the extra week to prepare.

I know I have seen it happen in other sports a number of times.

I'm only speaking for my local team, but I know there are many others. At a time where we're reading all of the smack talk of area teams getting ready for the playoffs, I would like to recognize the teams that didn't make the playoffs, but continue to play hard for themselves as well as the communities. I would like to give a shoutout to my Barbers Hill Eagles! After getting blownout to start district, they have roared back winning 3 of the last 4 and only losing to CEK by 4. They could've thrown in the towel, but didn't and continue to fight till the end of the year. Good luck to area teams in the playoffs!

LilTex, great stats from the kids at Dayton. Hunter had a really great game against NC. He looked very poised and we just never seemed to rattle him. I believe Ware and Allison may have them beat in combined rushing yards though (1895) vs (1517) however Dayton has 1 more game to go and will need 378 yards to catch them. Ware's passing percentage is 65% for a total of 2614 yards with only 4 int on the year against 28 TD's.

I just got report that 1485 between New Caney and Huffman has water across the road in a couple places. Both Peach and Caney Creeks are prone to flood there. Even if the rain stops at 5 it will not recede in time.

Sloppiest overall game I've been to all year. The only 3 good things I saw was Morse balling out, Whaley being tough and Png capitalizing on Central turnovers. 
 
I had 22-5a winning one first round game (central over king) but now after lastnight and tonight 21-5A gonna sweep 22-5a again this year.

I agree with this completely. I had a junior high basketball coach that stood under the goal during warm-ups. If you missed a layup you got swatted with his whistle strap. He was huge and believe me you felt it. To me at the time it was normal. Believe me when I say I learned to make layups with both hands very quickly as you had to use left hand on left side and right hand on right side.
