Yaaaaa'lllll ... ya'll are ruining a perfectly good smack-talking board. This is a good game, and its going to be soured by weeks of back-and-forth about who said what and who's a racist and who is too sensitive to be on the internet.
Here's a novel idea: No one cares about ANY of these comments.
Both sides on this thread have plenty to worry about in their leaky defenses and managing to come up with a win in a tough, exciting game. Let's just have the game and shake hands after like good sports.

I would venture to say that just about ANY team could be 0-5 or 5-0 depending on their schedule.  It's all relative and records don't necessarily reflect how good/bad a team is.  No offense but Hardin could be used as an example of this very thing.  Change of schedule could change everything. 

I think when Crosby comes out to do pre-game warm-ups, they should go ahead and put 20 points on PNG's side of the scoreboard.  Maybe the players will be awake for the start of the game. 

It’s homecoming week for the Yellowjackets in beautiful downtown Chester, Texas!  I believe the parade Saturday starts at 10, and the game will be at 5.  Aubrey Bradley Stadium will be rocking, and covered in purple and gold.  Better show up early if you want a seat.  Looking forward to a great game.

The Warren game is our best chance actually, but I do agree that we have a shot against Hardin. We're definitely having one of the worst yrs we've had in recent memory, but we have been a play or two away from being 3-2 right now instead of 0-5. So saying we may be one of the worst teams in SETX may be a bit much....especially after the seasons we've put together since 2000.

She doesn't get that we didn't do much in the passing game because we ran the ball at will. I don't usually talk up Jasper as much as some people, but this year's team looks legit. You have to give the Mustangs their due for all of the success that they've had, but some of their fans can't handle an off year with class. Your program deserves that.

Hardin vs Kirby should be a pretty good game. Hardin moved the ball well in the 1st half but you can tell the young QB had some jitters, he missed 2  deep balls that would have gone for six but over threw the WR and then on the other he under threw the WR. Hardin's rb is pretty good!!! 3 tds in the the first half that EC scored were off of a bad snap on a punt, Qb ran option but got confused and pitch the ball with no pitch man there and I can't remember the other one. I would go on a limb and say if Hardin had their starting qb this game it would have been prob 42-21 or a 42-28 score. They will give Kirby and Anahuac a very good game wouldn't surprise me one bit that they beat those 2 teams.  I don't see them beating Buna or OField

Agreed. RB White had some good runs early, but EC made some adjustments and pretty much shut him down. Hardin did go to the air a little more in the 2nd half after getting down by several scores.
Hardin will lose to Woodville, Buna and Orangefield. Have a chance to beat Anahuac and Kirbyville.

Didn’t end up making it to this one, but heard that East Chambers had a run for their money in the beginning they said that Hardin had a fumble on a key drive that killed their momentum they said that the sophomore did good for his first start as a quarterback took some big shots but played well. Also said #3 couldn’t be stopped and from a very reliable source that if he keeps running the ball like he is Hardin will beat Kirbyville and Anahuac at home, and is going to give Orangefield&Buna a run for their money for a playoff spot.Good luck to the Hornets the rest of the way!

I made a mistake, this is Russ’s 8th year. I counted wrong. 

I heard there Qb was out too. I did watch the game last week and there backup is a sophomore that’s looks just as good.. To me he looks faster than the starter and seems to throw the ball well too. I heard that their Rb #7 was out for the rest of the year with an injury. If I were the Hornets I would run my horse #3 all night and let the sophomore let it rip this is a great learning experience for the kid. He looks to be a good athlete should be a stud by his senior year.

It’s really hard to determine just yet how much improved the Hornets are. The 4 teams they’ve defeated have a combined record of  I believe 2-19.  We will know more Thursday night. Good luck Hornet’s!

I will be on the sidelines for this one

People finally realizing what truth speakers have been saying...this is a young team still trying to grow. I know everyone was thumping their chest about taking out WOS but now we see they are taking down a team that is just inexperienced at this level. Shut out by BC the whole second half?? Are you kidding?  A bad BC team at that. They got throttled by Silsbee and Jasper. That Vidor scrimmage shows some truth now when you shed some light on it. And for the record, speaking truth does not mean you don't support the team.
