Thank you. I was told he was an all district selection. Probably 2nd team or something.
Of those 5 kids, 3 are seniors correct?

Hardin O-Line
Center-Shayn Adams-6'5"-205
Left Guard-Jessie Marquez-5'9"-210
LT-Cory Mettlen-6'8"-332
RG-Josh Leader-6'0"-275
RT-Corey Nance-6'7"-258
I'm not sure as to who will be playing tight end at this point. Nance has not made any commitment to Lamar. He was the tight end last year until Mettlen's injury. He did not get picked as all district. -
Apparently you needed the insight since you said Hardin has an NFL sized line. Glad to help.NFL lineman weigh more than 300? Thanks for the insight. I change my mind again, Hardin will only make it to the semi-finals.

Hardin's smallest lineman weighs about 205lbs. They have three lineman at 260 or above. I'm pretty sure the average NFL lineman is over 300. Your sarcasm makes you look silly.I had no idea that they have an NFL sized line. I changed my mind, they will win the state championship.

He would need to put on some weight to play at the next level as a lineman. He has a good work ethic so its certainly possible. Is the Adams kid good enough to play at next level?
-
Udontknowit 2, the first district game is September 26 so it's not likely they will be out of it by the end of September.

I never stated that Hardin would set the world on fire come fall. Offensively, they will run a more balanced attack. Their smallest o-lineman is 6'5" and weighs 205. The next smallest is 6'7" and weighs 260. He has been offered a full ride to Lamar University. The biggest lineman is 6'8" and weighs 330. He was unable to play last year due to injury. I'm not on here to bash coaches or programs but simply to support the Hardin Hornets.

Wasn't Westbrook on that 1979 team?
-
Only time will tell. A new scheme offensively and a massive o-line should lead the Hornets to more success this season. I believe 8-2 is a stretch but I hope salesman is right.

I'm very disappointed. I was expecting to be called a clown or a retard.lol good one! Hornet its worth the read.

It's in that order. Bye week is September 19.Is it in that order? Do you know when the "off week is" ?
Thanks -
Didn't Renaldo Nehemiah graduate from HD?

I don't feel like looking at the links. When was the last playoff win? I'm not trying to be rude in any way, I'm just curious. You can't continue to re-live 1979. That's when my 52 year old sister graduated from high school.

You're gonna hear it now. LolIf you guys are trying to compete in State 7on7, it's equally expensive for all who participate; furthermore it's a separate entity from HS football & is paid for by parents of kids participating so I don't see the gripe. I suggest you guys get your pennies saved up or get to fundraising. Whining isn't allowed in 7 on 7 either. To the smart guy talking about " not talking about scrimmage". This was a suggestion for you to save money. I hope you aren't the "small school" representative. Sheeeez some people

JV tied Newton for the district title. I think they were unable to play each other due to weather.

Pre-district schedules do not "completely" change every two years. Hardin has played Tarkington for the past three years at the least.I'm pretty sure they played every year that Haynes was here as well.
-
I was talking about pre-district games.

I was told Hardin tried to schedule both HD and Tarkington but neither team wanted to. If Hardin will be as weak as some think, why wouldn't these teams want to schedule them to ensure they don't go into district play winless.
