#22 Huntington 49 Shallowater 54 - STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Absolutely, but their schedule still doesn't hold a candle to Shallowater's. It's wild how many 30-win teams they've played against this year. -
#22 Huntington 49 Shallowater 54 - STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Seems like about as good of a matchup as you could hope for in a championship based on record, but Shallowater has played one heck of a schedule, and beat some great teams to get here -

Cameron resigned from his position on the North Shore coaching staff after school officials were made aware that he had attempted to recruit two players, one from Dekaney High and one from Cy Falls High, to play at North Shore. "I accept full responsibility for my mistake and I sincerely apologize to Galena Park North Shore. All they did was trust me to be a leader in their program, and I failed them," Cameron said.

What a coaching job by foster to get this Big Sandy team a couple of buckets away from the regional tourney -

36-2 Seven Lakes isn’t much of a consolation prize. Gonna be a tough matchup for BU. This feels more like the final than the semi. Win this one and play an easier team to make it to state. -

Those new rims need some breaking in. Not used to seeing layups rim out -

That had a little, but obviously not everything, to do with Silsbee not playing their best. Horns scrapped down low and caused some turnovers with hustle. Nothing for HF to hang their heads about, and a nice tester to wake Silsbee up moving on in the playoffs. It’s been awhile since they’ve been challenged. Good luck to the tigers moving on!
