  1. It's a no brainer for conservative people. For people who have beliefs leaning both ways, they're choosing between two terrible options.
  2. Same story, different day. The right blaming those "stupid voters" for not voting for the far-right conspiracy theorist TV reporter. I mean, hell, she sounds great on paper. The responsibility is on the party to put out decent candidates. Just like when mush mouth won in Pennsylvania because he was running against Dr. Oz, of all people. Trump endorses people who will parrot everything he says, and there are enough worshippers of him to get them the nom, but not enough people to go along with it during the general election. I swear at this point if Trump endorsed a dog turd the right would give it the nomination and then blame moderate and lefty voters for not electing it. Trump wasn't a bad president, but he's a terrible candidate. Consequently, the candidates he endorses who act just like him are also terrible candidates. You can say the politics game is stupid, and it should only be about results. I don't disagree, but it's now how it works. Republicans can't refuse to play the game correctly and then blame the other side for when they lose. It's asinine, and it's also costing us a lot of elections.
  3. No, it's always the people who don't vote for bad candidates' faults. It's amazing how the right blames the left for voting for anyone who runs as a democrat, no matter how terrible they are, but then can't stand it when people won't do the same and elect their bad candidates on the right.
  4. He endorsed a TV reporter who parroted everything he said. Can't imagine why she didn't get elected.
  5. It's no surprise. I'm assuming it'll also be the end to her reelection chances. Then again if Trump had endorsed a decent candidate in the last election there'd be a republican in office and this wouldn't have happened.
  6. I give my dad a hard time about not buying land when he could for cheap. He could've picked up a couple hundred acres near where we hunt now for less than $75K back in his early 30s and passed on it, and that same place some for almost $2M awhile back. land is one of the few things they aren't making any more of.
  7. good deal. I've got plenty of places to hunt, but always looking for more options, but nothing I'm willing to pay for. I find people who have problems they need taken care of. Already have a paid lease for deer.
  8. location, and does it have pigs or predators that need killing? 😁
  9. I have silsbee winning by 12, and then losing by that many to OCFFAAU.
  10. Kinda crazy that the most likely championship matchup would be a 38-1 Stony Point team vs. a 39-0 Plano East team, with the only loss between the two being Stony Point's 5-point loss when the two teams met head to head before district play.
  11. It's a toss-up IMO, which is crazy considering how poorly Biden has done, and his cognitive state. Republicans insisting on running the only candidate that has a chance of losing against him is also crazy, but here we are.
  12. This was the only result that was ever going to happen Insane that the states tried to do this.
  13. I hope it's not her. She's as close to a Trump clone as it gets, and almost as unlikeable. She isn't swinging ANY votes.
  14. Ok, a cheerleader, someone who will go along with everything he says, who would never dare say anything bad about him, never question what he does, no matter how outlandish, inappropriate, or illegal. Look at how he's gone out of his way to try and torpedo countless politicians who spoke out against him. He's often petulant, like a little kid who got told "no." Trying to ruin political careers several levels below him simply out of spite is insane, but he's done it repeatedly. I'll be shocked if his choice is someone who he thinks will get him extra votes instead of someone who'll stoke his ego. Hopefully I'm wrong.
  15. I'll still say the best option he could go with for a purely vote-getting standpoint is Nikki Haley. The amount of angry responses I get from Trump supporters any time I bring that up is the exact reason she'd be the perfect running mate. He won't do it, though. He wants a puppet.
  16. Talked to his mom last night. Hoping he can play, but it’s gonna be tough. At least it’s his non-shooting hand, but both hands are a big part of his game
  17. This team might have 4-peated if they’d stayed in 5A. Still pretty amazing what they’ve done after moving up a classification
  18. Man, BU dodged a bullet here. Just saw the ending
  19. Hell yeah. I really need to stay off these threads knowing I’m a couple minutes behind. Time to flip over to Oak Cliff FAAUth and Family I guess
  20. Yes it was. Dude was under the basket and still moving on top of it
  21. United up 46-41, but Dotson just taken down the tunnel with a hand injury. If they advance I don’t see them winning at state if he can’t go next week
  22. Heck of a season, but ran into a buzz saw. A buzz saw that will unfortunately have most of its teeth coming back next season.
  23. Congrats, tigers! Hell of a performance today!
