Hawks are up, but have missed several chances early due to misses and turnovers.  they really need every point they can get.  they should probably be up 11-4.  instead still 7-4, 2:45 left in the quarter.

Hawks miss an easy layup after a steal, and Silsbee scores on the next trip down.  7-4, hawks lead.

Sutherland for 3, hawks up 7-2, and silsbee's 2 came off freethrows after a bad foul call.

Rico put in a close one, 4-0 hawks.  Sutherland had a shot at a bigtime three but it rims out.

Hawks finally break the ice, up 2-0, 2 minutes in. 

a minute and a half or so in, 0-0, both teams combined for an 0-5.

hawks 0-2 from deep early, but neither taken by sutherland.

i still can't get over how much of a drop-off HJ has had in this "rebuilding year"  ::)

Silsbee has to be the favorite simply due to their size.  HJ has been the better team over the last 3 weeks, but tonight HJ looked flat, and Silsbee finally looked like the team that we've been expecting.  Still, i'm going to give a homer pick, and say HJ wins 66-62. HJ gets hot early from deep, and Silsbee dominates the boards and the score is tied going into the half.  in the 2nd, Silsbee gets in foul trouble, and HJ gets some fast break points off of turnovers to pull away going into the 4th quarter.  they fight off a furious Silsbee comeback and head back to state!
