whats interesting about poppy brown is it looks like he came out of no where!!! according to 2016 etsn football preview on gilmer  a kid named brett rice was suppose to be the starter and poppy brown isnt even mentioned .

lagaryon carson (u of t commit ) is suppose to be a beast and was state  4a defensive player of the year as a junior  .  I know he is just one of eleven jokers out there playing but whomever was blocking him must be a stud !!! 55 points on a defense is not a good look , but this is todays football all offense and no defense .

I went back 30 years ago(1985)  to the date almost and looked up my old all district picks article . The 1st team offense ,  defense and 2nd offense and defense altogether was 48 picks . Add the superlatives which was 4 slots it was 52 in all . Mind you back then if you won a superlative you were also eligible to be placed on the all district (imo your suppose to )team . We had a 7 team district. Honarable Mention back then meant something as well , but now its jusr crazy !! You have over 24-25 kids on 1st teams , that is a total of almost 50 on offense and defense . Last i checked its still 22 jokers on that field at the same time . Coaches need to get it together!! Every kid cant make an honor , sorry !! You get your "participation trophies" at your school's anual banquet. 

Does anyone have the list or article of the supergold 1st team and 2nd team ? I dont live in the area and i see Beaumont enterprise never updates their site . Also i see PA News Super Team came out they have superlatives but not the list of the team or the team picture . Usually someone on here would have already posted supergold and super team someone help a brother out . Thanks !!

Congrats to Kendrick "crown'em" King for being named district MVP the  kid put his team on his back , just wish it would have ended in regionals . Also to Tyreese White for being named Offensive Newcomer of the year he maybe a problem for the next 2 years in the area if he is used right .At one time  In Hamshire history we always had some really good backs lets hope we crank that back up . Shout out to the rest of the young men at hf,  it was nice to see them win this year and get some recognition . Now lets build a damn defense !!! WOS still plays smash mouth ball and lights out defense which explains going 4rounds In 2012 and 2013  and 6 deep twice in 2014 and 2015 winning it all  this year. Defense still wins championships.

there still is a chance he can make it in February when txsw picks their team . Its a lot of players from the area that needs to get recognized.  Im hoping Kendrick King from HF makes all state . He should have gotten at least HM all state last year , we will see what 2207 yards and 41 tds will get you . I see it wasnt enough for bmt enterprise and i know pa news super team is gonna overlook him . Kendrick King is one of the most disrespected players in the area . His numbers the last 3 years speaks for itself , especially in the setx region . If he went to the "bigger schools"  and put up the numbers he did we wouldn't even have this conversation.  

Does anyone have the full article and pictures of the super gold team ? Also the second team and honorable mentions . If so i would like to get a link or an e version of it or a scan copy of it . Thank you

I have not heard of any offers given to chan amie , this kid can be a tackling machine and ball hawk at safety . This kid is a certified stud can play on either side of the ball the kid  kid has it all !!

Refugio from games i saw when they loose or loosing tend too get goonish and emotional.  Its all good when your winning but when advertisty comes in that is where good coaching and g ood players make adjustments and not mistakes . 

Wow didnt see this coming thought it would be a shoot out on both sides . I guess isiah perez never truly got his grove back running and catching the ball like he did last year . Ait Canada !!! Im surprised the kid Schaffer hasnt gotten tons of offers he is a beanpole but he can always gain weight helluva qb and team . Mascarro still has another year left he is a good one .

Shout out to Casen Carter from HF beng named to The Beaumont Super Gold team as a d lineman . 

Im sure by February WOS will be all over the TXSPW all state team which includes regular season and playoff games . This happened last year as well (a poor representation of setx players on the ap all state team ) , to say the kid from silsbee is an HM qb when he played the same amount of games as the kid from liberty and put up numbers that was  far better than the Texarkana kid that made 1st team. Epler threw for 5,000 yards and 71 tds in 16 games last year . Dt had a total similar and all he got was an hm when that got eppler player of the year (offensive) and dt played in 14 games . Setx gets no respect 

Say what you want throwing for over 3,000 yards and 41 tds the kid can play qb . If  they had a defense their playing friday . That is the reason why WOS is in it year in and year out  great athletes but their emphasis has always been defense which is why they are in the hunt year in and out . Dallas nor Morse stat wise isnt seeing DT this year.
