1.
Hey hold up a minute! I just went an looked at Lumbertons stats from the Jasper game and they actually didn't do that bad. They had 20 more total yards than Jasper, but it looks like they couldn't hold on to the rock! 7 fumbles losing 3 of those along with 7 Penalties! I think Lumberton will be a much better team the Santa Fe was, so this could be closer than what i thought :-X
Nope they will not be any better....truth is both Santa Fe and Lumberton are down (Not sure Santa Fe has ever been "up").  BH wins this one easy 3rd string in midway thru the 3rd quarter.
 2. Didn't GCM get handled pretty well by Ned in a scrimmage?
 3.
BH looked very good on offense and defense looked pretty darn good as well.  Hard to say how that adds up because Memorial was not very good.  Should be a better test next week in Santa Fe. All being said, BH is much better than Dayton or anyone else in district this year.   ;)
Santa Fe can't play either.  They will be as slow as BH and BH will have size advantage on them....That will not be a test.

NED did a good job of burning the clock and had good play calling. DAY did not look interested from about the middle of the 2nd qrt on. I dont put alot of stock in scrimmages but DAY better wake up and show some intensity come next Friday or its not gonna be nice. IMO ;D
Hey Rox, not sure what you were watching but I thought the guys were intense on both sides of the ball, the defense has some that are maybe too intense as they over ran some plays.  Those guys looked pretty intense to me for a glorified practice,   I am not sure about you sometimes Bronx.   You give out sideways complements and then usually act like you have inside information (which is almost ALWAYS wrong to some degree), and then take an underhanded shot at the team.
I don't think he is doing that... He just calls it just like he sees it.. Just like everyone else on here. I know I and alot of others value his opinion on DA BRONX as he calls them.  ;)
maybe so, but that doesn't mean he is right.

 6. I know just stirring the pot a little,  yanking chains.... I am glad to see that they (liberty)have a little hope for their season this year, would be nice to see them return to the former days of glory.  Wasn't too long ago that Liberty played some good football.  Maybe they will get there again....I am not sure they have the leadership (Board and Admin) to get there.  But thats another topic. Good luck to Falcons and Panthers alike.
 7. only as serious as a guy who thinks that getting to 2nd place will be great

Even Ricky Bobby knows that "If you ain't first you're last."
we're entertaining ourselves.. if you don't like it.. why waste time commenting on a thread where your opinion is neither cared about nor valued.. if you knew the half you'd understand the inside humor but yeah.. get a life guy.. obviously you have nothing better to do than post right along with us..
I just thought that with all the size and speed you guys keep coming up with you may want to set your sights higher than 2nd place.  But hey we all have to shoot for something don't we.  M

Even Ricky Bobby knows that "If you ain't first you're last."
Who is Ricky Bobby? So out of two hundred and something schools in three-a all but one is last? Thats rich and not a very bright statement.
No it is sad that you are arguing over who is good enough to NOT win district.  THAT is what is sad.

 11.
I think most of us agree with you on that. I don't know the entire situation here, but I don't believe they are moving for athletic purposes. If so, then the truth will come out, and his kids will suffer because of it. Let's hope that's not the reason for the move/transfer.  :)
They will have to fill out a previous athletic particiation form, and HF will have to sign off on it.  Then the District executive committe will determine the eligibility.  IF it can be proven that the move is for athletic purposes then the players will be ruled ineligible.  But I think they usually get to play JV or 9th grade ball during the year of ineligibility.
 12.

The swagger of being a BRONCO does not leave you now because isnt coaching football... If you played for Stewart you knew he put good coaches around his players that understood the BRONCO WAY.  IF Hancock gets it then great but if he does not Wood would alsobe excellent choice.  Stewart grooms all his coaches to coorinator or Head Coaches.
If you are talking about the DB coach (wood) taking over that WOOD be the worse mistake ever. This guy doesn't have a clue he has hung around this long only because he is from Dayton. Please Stewart don't punish us like that. Let Hancock take over but not wood.
Message Boards are places where any fool can have his say.  Coach Wood has "hung around" Dayton because he is an excellent FB coach.  Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.
 13. no question about it  Henry Dugat.  Pruitt was great, but Henry has to be the best.
Yes but only one..Liberty fouled way to much but fair game better team won last night
Dayton has TWO returning starters still in football.  At at least 2 to 4 other varsity players still in football
 15.
either way. if you think track is a "sport" then you have football girls softball and track? woohoo lets get excited BH= tennis, football, volleyball, basketball(boys and girls), tennis, softball, track(boys and girls). might not have put 54 points on the board against anyone they play but they do sweep the board on playoffs minus one sport.
Nice job.....That just proves what we are all saying...... THE HILL IS FOR REAL.
 16. Just like BH to come to a Foootball message board and start talking about other sports.  Go the the baseball and basketball sites and start a thread there about the Hill being for real.  and only an idiot would think that track does not require skill.  I guess that only leaves one thing to say...... THE HILL IS FOR REAL.
 17.
The truth is neither Dayton or the Hill have played well this year. Dayton at 0-2 and BH at 1-2 have both had trouble holding on to the ball, until BH's last game against Nederland. To BH's credit Sante Fe is now 3-0 as well as Lumberton, so they played two pretty good teams and Nederland is no pushover..Earlier comment Dayton, by 50...lol..Dayton won't be beating anybody by 50 this year...This game could go either way, Dayton should have the edge, but if the Hill can hold down turnovers and play some defense they have shot..Right now, neither have much to crow about... off week for BH..Work hard guys, things are getting better and you're play against Nederland demonstrated that.. Congrats on good win against Nederland....
Care to amend that comment?
 18.
He must have left within the last 2 weeks.
The coach that was there last year left after one year duer to personal reasons, the new coach is in his first year and is doing a great job picking up where the last one left off
 19.
That's about typical of Price and the Baytown Sun.  Everything is everyone Else's fault and Price is great.  There is a very good reason his football players did not get div-1 offers, they had no support form him.  Furthermore, we did have div-1 players, but then again the Baytown Sun would have to say something negative about the coach they so love to kiss the A&$ of.   How about all the playoff games he never won or how many he coached that embarrassed the fan base by such a poor job he did.  Write the "other side of the story" Baytown Sun.......  Geez!  Good riddance Price......hope your next school welcomes you as we once did. Sincerely, One of you critics
It hurts for you to see what a stupid thing your school district just did doesn't it.  You just sent away a coach who has a great winning percentage, several championships and he did all this without any division 1 football players.  BTW there is not other side of the story.  He was a good FB coach, and a good AD.
 20.
First of congrats Crosby But Just goes to show 20-4a is stronger.
guess we will find how much truth is in that statement in 2 weeks after the 1st round
 21. Fisher is a veteran, he is trying to get an edge on the rockets. Kobe better get an escort out of the Arena. Artest might just be waiting on him.....
 22. You are right about that.... Executive AD positions work well for multi school districts where each school has a campus coordinator, but when there is just one high school why would there be a need for an Executive AD position?
 23. Very interesting....Will he have a good chance at getting it? That also brings up a whole new discussion. Who would get the head coaching job at Ozen if Coach Boutte were to leave for PAISD?
 24. OK Good luck getting a coach who is experienced and has a winning record after the way you guys ran MB out of his job. The Man makes the playoffs and goes 2 rounds deep in '07 and then has a down year and gets canned. The community of PNG better come to grips with cold harsh reality. This job is radioactive now. Your overbearing, backstabbing, second guessing and message board coaching critiques have tarninshed a proud and historic program. I am not saying that you will not get a good coach, but whoever it is will more than likely use PNG as a springboard to get a good job somewhere else. They will not stick around like Hooks and Neuman. The revolving door of coaches may have just been opened by the PNG faithful who got rid of MB.
