I will say this Dayton players have a lot of class within an hour of the game being over they were tweeting PNG players congratulating them...much respect to Dayton 

We've been posting all year that we had a big problem with our HC  who has run  our program in the ground the past 5yrs (AD just got the boot) our football program is a former shadow of its self, fan and student athlete  participation is at a all time low.

I don't believe you want me to list the kiddos in the last 4 yrs that have quit or the ones that quit 3 times or the xfers that left,or the one's that laid out of summer drills & showed up @mandatory & play,or the ones whose parents won't allow them to quit.Push the issues button & force my hand,although I would never ever do that=names.But DHS community knows this,and many out of towners know who came for yrs under JS yrs & don't show any more,many I talk with.Where did the home side clogging of feet in the stands go,where's the fans/cheers & where is the trophies(Don't even say we lack talent.In 6 yrs how many DHS coaches left & how many applied for other coach jobs.Hit me back if you want more,got way more info,family was 1 of 7 Lib Co families since 1850 census so peeps know us.My resume of God,Family,Country,Community is much to big to say,I've given tidbits & my bunch of kiddos still call me Coach after 25 yrs.When you beat down your stars after college fb w/mouth=resume towards eventual failure & yes I'm still p'oed when a kid that can is not given a chance to break all time Tx season record w/weak opponents left.Many DHS followers that never post know who's meaningful,call me out 1 more time,I'll air it out worse than any qb by being connected in politics,religion,families(huge families)Smh. I love JS but I gave him back his most prized poss 2 yrs ago,imma go get ready for service & I'll pray for Disd.Many of you Dayt fans I know you can't send likes for retaliation so pm me

The only good thing about tonight win or lose at least purple and white is moving on to play. Hope it is the Indians though.

New Caney is 0-7 all-time in the playoffs. I'm not sure if Pennington has talked history with his team but that fact would be added pressure. When the bright lights turn on, it will probably be tough to keep from pressing in a high leverage situation.
Nederland wins all the intangibles here but New Caney has one hell of a QB and some electric receivers. They also had a very good game plan against Crosby so I'm not buying into the fact that Nuemann is way better than Pennington. New Caney really had nothing to lose against Crosby though, and they have everything to lose in Beaumont Saturday. Tough call here. Vegas might call this a pick'em. No matter what, the fact that our #4 has your #1 in what looks to be an even matchup only magnifies the fact that 21-5A continues to dominate.

It doesn't really matter why he is retiring, i mean hell when he retired as head coach he asked to stay on as part time ad so that should have told everyone then that he was going to be there much longer. No matter why he is retiring us dayton fans wish him the best in whatever he does and thank him for a great run as hc and ad. 20 straight years in the playoffs i think he did great.

Look ya'll I'm as shocked as anybody.What I know is what my personal friend J Stewart told me=@75th Bronco re-union I asked him was he still thinking of retiring in early Dec or wait till the end of 2015 school year.He smiled & said well to be perfectly honest I may possibly go back to full time coaching.I yelled heck yeah thinking Dayt cause he'd told me he'll always be a Bronco.He'd also told me he personally had plans to have a big feed for all the kiddos that played for him.I know his ailing mother is in Ark and he's been there many times to check on her since his bro passed from cancer.Story I was told the HC job between Hancock(former D/C) & J Nations(former O/C)was a board tie vote w/1 remaining vote as a tie breaker.Wherever Stewart is he'll always be my friend thru thick/thin,and he called to check on me when I was recovering from VA surgery=If I can help you any way call,that's what real friends do.I wish him well.I'm a steadfast Bronco supporter thru thick/thin,we had a great program from what Stewart built,knew retirement was on his mind 5 yrs ago thru a month ago.(blame me if you want for talking him into taking up golf.What was he to do when retired=not a outdoors person=football/coaching was his life)Knowing these things his best interest was to allow a young HC to learn from some mistakes(we've all done that) & some were made.99.9 radio announced this morning that Dayt AD has resigned along w/3 others.No futher news until Dayt supt issues a statement.So until GO Broncos,school board go to work w/wise choice for a storied program & fresh ideas,a community is awaiting closure,sooner would be great

If they won't give it, go get it.  Go Broncos.  Go 21-5A.  Dayton by 10.

The # 2 team in State is in our district we still get no respect -Rodney Dangerfield would turn over in his grave .lol 

We played Nederland pre district and we played NC in our regular season district, I say NC by 2tds. maybe more, but I've been wrong before plus I can't pick against our district. All kidding aside I'm sure it will be a great ball game but I would still have to give the edge to NC.

It's probably a mistake to compare anything Vidor's players can do to what Dayton's players can do. I highly doubt Vidor came into that game with nearly 4000 rushing yards either. 
Nobody is saying PNG doesn't have a good defense, but you need a much better game plan than coming in with the idea you're going to stop Dayton's offense. Dayton is averaging 495ypg and about 40ppg on teams not named Channelview and Crosby this year. 
What 4 offenses on PNG's schedule are as good as CV, Crosby, New Caney and King? I would say even Kingwood Park's offense is about what Ned's is. Where does Ned's offense rank in 22-5A? If you add Nederland to that mix you're talking about 6 good offenses out of 10 teams on their schedule. PNG also hasn't had to face the caliber of players Dayton has. 
PNG will need every bit of 40 in this one, if that's even enough.

Dayton played some different kids on the field last night to give them some field time, but when they did bring  the starters in to work with the newbies it was a different game, just ask the Porter coaches. I'm guessing PNG was there scouting us out so our coaching staff  was keeping the play calling pretty lean from what I could see. If PNG can play  mistake free football next week against Dayton then it will probably be a close tight game if not Dayton by 10+. My wife has a lot of family that played ball for  PNG so we have been watching y'all for yrs. I was at the game last year, PNG never led after any quarter. If Baughman gets to play in that game and let McBride go to the slot Dayton gets an easy 70 on PNG. PNG couldn't even beat Ned and hasn't played anybody as good or as physical as Dayton this year. You'll see what I mean when you're over there watching them hit big play after big play all phases of the game.

Last year PNG was giving up about 24ppg and Dayton dropped 56 on them with the slot receiver playing qb. This year PNG's defense seems better but it because the offenses are just worse so I expect Dayton to only score about 45 with the qb playing qb. PNG will probably only be a couple of mistakes away from getting blown out.  

Can't wait for this game.. I just hope there is no rain. And all players coaches band dancers cheerleaders and fans have a safe trip to and from the game. And no injuries during the game. Good luck with basketball season after the game PNG. 

We will be there too. 

My wife and I will be there to support y'all.
That was a great game Saturday night against my Broncos, as long as we can wear our school colors.

I believe it said 6. I am planning to support the 21-5A schools Thurs/Fri. And of course by all means wear your team colors.  

I was hoping this game was on Saturday so we could go to it as well but, I'll be at Stallworth watching my Broncos!!

For my Bronco fans a much improved 2015 offensive team on turnovers vs 2014.Since 1st dist loss to King(2 fumb/2ints) Dayt has lost(5) fumbles ****Biggee=only 2 ints(4 tot on the yr) & I think we've att 6 fg's all yr & lead 21-5a in rushing yds,combine Hancock/Shaq qb stats=completion ratio=highest in the dist=over 67%=over 1,700 yds 19 tds 4 ints.Willing to bet Broncos are the dist's best on turnovers lost,I give credit where earned=O/L my hero's are big strong leading the charge & liking the offense that's now hitting it's stride w/best performance in a big game of the year,smh i thought Herrera was back,kudos Hunter you stepped up your game /made me proud.Congrats on nomination for offensive player of the week.Defense keep working on wrapping up/tackles/ints
