I went and watched for a little bit didn't stay the entire scrimmage. It was a controlled game, no kick-off, no punts, no punt returns,and no field goal kicks. Dayton had some descent size lineman, fumbled several times, ran a lot of cross routes, screen plays, ran ball up the gut. I got to go watch them play ome game last year so don't have a lot to compare them too.. Galveston Ball scored twice on Dayton while I was there but they didn't use the scoreboard for anything it was just lit up.

We went to a couple of the games this year that was hard to watch to see what use to be the dominant team in the district. The atmosphere is different most people were leaving at half time, but 10 yrs ago you were trying hold seats. Lose the coaching staff, hire from the outside get the program back on track please. I guess I'll have to watch the state championship game we bought in San Antonio when the Broncos were a great team to watch even though we lost. We need another Jerry Stewart, I just hope that the Dayton School Board fixes this issue at least for the athletes that want to play but won't because or the ridiculous coaching staff we have now. I've said this before you don't have to win every game but at least compete and this is all on the coaching staff not the kids. Still smh!!!

What can I say, lots of opportunities but nothing capitalized on. I will say again not on the kids coaching staff good old boy system needs to go. This team used to be such a powerhouse. I still have my copy of the state game and it's hard to watch what it's become from 10-11yrs. ago. I don't expect us to go to state every year but it would be nice just to be able and compete in the district at this point anything would be an improvement of what it is now. I was told that we lost 3 players to grades, that's no excuse we lost 5 players for the entire 2008 season the year we went to state it's a coaching issue Dayton School board needs to figure it out.

Jerry Stewart's Football Program is really being missed by myself and I would guess by several others as well. I haven't watched Crosby play this year but I have watched Dayton so here's my prediction. Crosby 21 Dayton 0

First game I've been to in a few years because of medical issues but that coaching looked like trash can koolaid if I've ever seen it this is not on the players big or small you build your team with plays calling that matches up with the athletes you have available. Your not going to play the same 5 plays that aren't really good but a couple of plays and expect if to eventually work out after around 20 snaps give it up and try something different what do you have to lose because your play calling is suspect. I haven't played in over 40yrs and this is my personal opinion which some people may like or dis-like and that's fine looks like before this gets any better you need to start from square one. I would also suggest getting some protection for the quarterback or you're going to get him hurt and stop putting him on the defense as well smh!!! Go Broncos 2019

I haven't posted in a while been dealing with a lot of personal issues health wise but my family is doing better right now by the grace of God. Dayton 0-10 last season I don't know what the outcome will be this up-coming season but I don't think the Broncos will go 0-10 again this year. I really hope they improve and play like they were 10 years ago. Go Broncos 2019

Congrats Porter. I've been working out of town in Corpus Christi for about 3 months now having to miss high school football games is killing me!!!!!! Go Broncos 2016!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck Broncos. I'm working in Corpus right now can't be there in person but I'm going to be listening so please post any take aways from this game, very much appreciated. Play hard, stay healthy, and improve where needed and Broncos will be fine. I would have to agree with you on that if not a little later we'll just have to wait and see. I'm sure whoever he picks for the DC will be the right man for the job.

I agree that was my choice when I started this back in December. Coach Nation's did great things for our Broncos before and I know he will again, now if we could find out who the DC will be.

MossHill2 if it makes you feel any better I had faith in you. I was also told that Coach Nations will take over I believe by the beginning of next month

My wife just texted me at work and said 99.9 just announced Jeff Nations as the new AD/HC for Dayton so now I guess it's official.
