I really think Orangefield is one of the better 3A teams in the state. Kountze is pretty young with a good sophomore class. The bobcats will make a run for the state title this year IMO

If Kountze beats Hardin and losses to orangefield and Kirbyville beats EC and loses to Buna then Kountze gets 4th. There would not be a tie because Kountze has a 1 game lead on Kirbyville

I feel like Kountze has a good shot to take the 4th seed. If they go 2-1 in those last 3 games I think they get it based on the remaining schedules.

This district had some solid competition this year. Current standings are as follows 1. Orangefield (11-2) 2. Kirbyville (11-2) 3. Kountze (10-3) 4. Anahuac (8-5) 5. Buna (6-7) 6. Warren (3-10) 7. Hardin (2-11) 8. East Chambers (2-11) Barring any surprises the top 4 is locked in. I’m assuming Orangefield has the tie breaker over Kirbyville due to wining the season series 2-0. This district will face district 21-3A in Bi district.

Idk if that would even matter… they have had baseball coaches before.. just not really any talent there… especially for a 6A
