China dropped their 125% tariff on ethane from the U.S. this morning. They buy 50% of their ethane from the U.S. Hard to make all that cheap, plastic crap they sell to everyone without ethane. They must be hurting worse than many think. (Still a free/fair trade guy. Maybe this is a breakthrough for talks.)

Ran outta reactions for today. But, sometimes I remember playing a little sick where Mom would take me to the local drug store. It had a soda/ice cream fountain booth & God’s perfect reading material. COMIC BOOKS! Yeah, I had to take some yucky cough syrup stuff. But, the ice cream & comic book was worth it. Ice cream & comic was about .25 depending on the ice cream.

A little levity is good for the soul.

Got em after I got back from the Navy. Was a late bloomer. Always told people “Uncle Sam taught me how to blow things up. I figured I may as well learn how to rebuild them.” LOL

Safe to assume none of us went to Harvard. Oddly enough, I do have two degrees though. Engineering & BSBM. Must have gotten the urge from building the skateboard & ramps & conning my buddies into jumping also.

No A/C in the car. We had good airflow in the truck bed with no tailgate, feet swinging.

My skateboard sucked also. But, it was all the more exciting when you took a rope, had a buddy tie it to the back of their bike & haul butt pulling you while you jumped your homemade piece of crap ramp made with half rotted plywood down the middle of your busy street. Oh, and with no helmet or knee/elbow pads. Just shorts, flip-flops & clean ears from the Q-tips. The rest of the alcohol was used after a few jumps & the butt-whoopin came when you finally went inside later that night looking like you’d been in a bear fight and it was found that you’d ruined a half salvageable piece of plywood your dad was saving for something and you’d left the water hose running wasting water. 😁

I bet you drank out of a water hose, put Vicks in your nose, and alcohol on Q-tips in your ears too. Good Lord Man! How are you still alive? (This is my ghost speaking. I rode my bicycle & homemade skateboard without a helmet and knee/elbow pads.)

Their slogan is basically ‘build a wall around the welfare state, not around the nation.’ I think most people with a lick of common sense understand the two can’t co-exist without restrictions.
