Porter sits currently at 7-1. They had a tournament before Thanksgiving their coaches must not do a very good job of keeping their stuff updated.

Don't know but Marshall, Livingston, and Coldspring were all in Huntington last year.

Wasn't at the game but would venture to say this post is far more embarrassing than anything on the field today. They are still giving degrees out for this. If it is so bad go get your degree become a coach and do better.

Semi final round and those are accurate stats, he had good numbers but not nearly that good against Klein Oak in the championship.

Should be a good tournament, but that schedule is a bit off.

I hear a couple of the Porter guys watch a lot of Seahawks games so I guess we will see.

QB for Porter is as tough as they come. Don't see him getting rattled by a pass rush. Just have to get more separation from the secondary than they have been getting the past few weeks.

Hmm all their backups played I thought it was only 3 or 4.

Of course It was a great atmosphere. I liked what I saw from both teams esp the NC defense. New Caney vs healthy Crosby should be a fun game.

Why so defensive? It obviously worked the game plan was great and I'm talking about what I saw as a neutral observer the New Caney side had many other open seats I've even seen pictures of both crowds where there was many more people on the Porter side. Is this board so cynical that an observation about the game plan that worked great and was very good is viewed as a shot.

Observations: Does parking just seem so much worse at Texan Drive this year? New Caney crowd seemed a bit underwhelming and Porter's looked huge. New Caney's interior lineman keeping Hall from being able to step up in the pocket was huge. Porter had 2 possessions down 13 to 7 and just couldn't quite get over the hump and New Caney made the plays needed to close it out. Very intense game with both teams playing well and New Caney showed to be a very complete football team. Porter's defense played well for how much they were on the field seemed to wear down a little bit towards the end, but really got after it after the first two drives. I don't know why but I expected New Caney to pass more and test the secondary.
