When I lived in Lufkin, went to watch Apple Springs play because my co-worker's daughter was in band at Lufkin Hudson and they were marching at the 6 man game (Hudson does not have a football team)...most fun I EVER had at a football game!!! It is FUN!!!!!

Saw some 6 man football when I lived in Lufkin...Apple Springs was just down the road....it was the most exciting game I have ever watched!!! Lots of action and scoring......good luck Burkville!!

A great man and band director, I never was in band, just athletics, but I respected him very much!! His wife was my geography teacher in 6th grade....she was a gem!! (song does the same to me, very proud!!)
