Vidor- Yet another top tier starter, in Smith. I hear Fochee (sp) is looking like a 1a. Add that to returning almost thier entire lineup and the sky is the limit. This might actually be a bit low, but pretty tough list. 5. LCM-The bears return some nice arms but will miss the bats that graduated last year more than people think. Graduated 6or7 hitters. 6. Lumberton- New coach, who I believe will instill the disapline needed for long term success for the raiders, but it might take a year or two. However, I am predicting a big step in the right direction and they will play spoiler for at least one of the top 5. 7. Ozen- Very good #1 starter, they seem to always play the spoiler role, but can't quit crack the top 4. I don't see them having the depth to change that this year. 8. [/quote] I would be surprised if Denny gives up football.....especially being a QB.  Texas and Auggie Garrido have both said in the past that they do not have a problem with signees playing football and/or other sports. Most schools,including the Horns, will still honor the scholarship if it's not a career ending injury. Just my two cents.

[/quote] He did verbally commit to UT.  He has visited several D1 schools in Texas this fall.  He had a fantastic summer including being selected All-American at Perfect Game World Wood Bat National Tournament.  There were well over 100 teams there and his team finished in the top 4.  He can swing it! I would be very surprised if Denny did not play football next year. He's a high school starting varsity QB. (lot of "fringe" benefits with that)  ;)
