This isn’t the first time HF has played them tough.  This definitely makes the Jasper game more interesting.

As a tiger fan I always want them to win.  Also as a fan I always want rivals to lose every game.  I’d be lying if I wanted it to change this week either.  Looking at this week it wouldn’t shock me to see wos win.  Honestly I expect them to......they have to ......or there is a huge chance everything unravels.  It wouldn’t be the first time a talented team with high expectations hits some adversity and implodes.  Happens in college every year.  LSU, Auburn, UT, possibly A&M.  Wos this is your rally time.  You either continue bickering or you come together and support your entire team/coaches.  If you don’t think these kids get things in their heads then by all means keep the negative going.  You think losing to a few good teams is bad, just watch where you can help drive this.

Either the wrs were running poor routes or the q.b. was extremely inaccurate.  It looked both.
There is an old saying.....”when you have 2 qbs you have none.”  
The rbs ran hard.  Darrell Royal would of had a field day with the number of good backs.

The offense is questionable.  There isn't a generational player to hide the issues and save it this year.  Wr routes were missed.  Ol needs work.  Qb has a good ball but looks more of a pocket passer vs dual.    Hard to get many passes out when defenders were in his face so quickly.  Scheme needs adjusting to fit personnel.  Lots of work to do.  Kicking (fg) game is a highlight for once in a long time.

Silsbee kids played hard but it was evident a lot of those turnovers were just sloppy play by WOS.  It was good to see some fire.   Silsbee offense is nonexisistent.  Sad really to go from breaking records to this.  
The kids need to just keep working.  

Coaches are hired to coach and teach students in high school. Several do create relationships with college coaches and that does help some kids with scholarships. In the end whether a student gets a scholarship or not shouldn't be placed at a high coach's feet. Football is a team sport not an individual sport. The best rise to the top and recruiters take notice. What some may see as a school's best player or district MVP may be average in the grand scheme of the recruiting landscape.
