Had the score been different, this thread wouldn't even be up. Good job to the kids who played their hearts out. I'm sure WB kids are sitting around blaming the admin and board and not thinking about getting ready for next week. It sucks being a teenager especially a football player after a loss.

How dare u try to discredit Ozen's victory last night. The kids and coaches deserved the dub. I don't know if u looked in your crystal ball to see that the result would have been different with Stump. Ozen has some work to do along with wb. Stop complaining about the board and admin cuz I don't recall them physically being on the field. In life we deal with adversity , football included. Wb has some good athletes and coaches just as Ozen and Central. From a WB alumni in support of a son that's a Panther. Great job Panthers!

Yes! 33-29. Jakobi Jones started off with a 95 yard kick return for the 1st td. Defense held wb to no 1st downs in the 1st qtr for sure. Defense wasn't the same after halftime and Hervey for wb made some big plays. Our receivers could barely catch a cold. We have work to do but we'll get there.

The list is 'top games', not highest attendence.  Personally, I would prefer the game that shows better football vs. people in attendence.  More people in the stands don't necessarily make it the better game to attend.  PS.  The Central/Ozen halftime is unlike any other.  ;) 8) [/quote] Ok. A lot of schools (PN-G and Nederland among them) that used to sell SRO tickets stopped thanks to tighter fire ordinances. I don't know if it will be a more competitive game or not. After the way Central played last year, that's really hard to say. And Ozen really didn't come into its prime until late in the season (remember, they barely made the playoffs), so we don't know that they'll be playing to their full potential either. Granted, it's a rivalry game and both teams have a lot of talent, but talent doesn't always mean a competitive game (just ask LSU ;D) and the Orange Bowl (LC-M vs. WO-S) is technically a rivalry game as well.
