My friend's daughter was friends with him and attends WB. From what she has told me he suffered a hard hit against Channelview, was hurting and coughing up blood. Went to the Dr. recently and they found a tumor which led them to also find leukemia. He went into a coma and passed away while at MD Anderson. Prayers to the family, students, staff, and faculty at WB.

K. Smith is a good player. I just hope for his sake and the sake of the Jaguars that he has matured mentally basketball wise. I had the opportunity to watch him play some this summer and I wish him and the Jags the best. Hoping that he will be an even greater asset to the Jags this year.

It's hilarious to me how a group of adults can get on a site and post some of the ridiculous comments they do. It's one thing to give your opinion but when you can't get out of your feelings long enough to offer something positive to the kids out there giving it their all then it's as crazy as some of the posters. To each it's own. Some kids would probably be ashamed at the way some adults act and not necessarily on just this thread. Supporting your team how you see fit. I hope to see a good til the end injury free game.

bhfan, 10 and 15 are definitely worried about the wrong thing.....and if the Panther fans decide to eat burger king or something of that nature, we are inclined to wait til we get to Winnie. Ticket sales is the only advantage you have and that's because it's at your stadium.

I have several friends who's sons play for the Jags and was told some have already turned in their football stuff and have made it to basketball practice.....I know this is a football forum but wishing the Jags much success on the hardwood and hoping the necessary adjustments will be made to see them back in the playoffs next football season.

Good thing for you and your kid's sake it's not over your dead body I think....Whatever reason you have for not liking Ozen has nothing to do with the kids on the football team. Well at least I can't see where every single kid on the team could have done something to you PERSONALLY for you to feel the way you do. My, my, my......2cents this is a forum that is ran according to people's opinions and there's no need to get testy. Heck if another person's opinion makes your brother or any athlete less than what they are then shame on them. I try not to get personal on here and you will never find me talking about another person's child, my poor son has to deal with enough idiots and I don't want to be that to somebody else's child. These kids are doing what they can with what they have and I know that this poll won't make or break them.
