I wasn't looking down on BC but if both clubs play their absolute best this isn't anywhere near a 10 pt game.

Leggett can be a very interesting place to play.

They may not let you wear one Dove  ;D

I have been around basketball in this area since the 60's and Big Sandy has always had a good program.

I'm kinda surprised this one was this close.I have only saw the Lady Hawks play once this year but they put up over 40 in one quarter in the game I saw.I know they are young but they are going to have to stay focused.

Evadale will win this district I believe. They may not go undefeated because Big Sandy is very hard to beat at home.Evadale needs to get their post guy #32 back to be at their best.I haven't seen West Hardin this year but didn't think they were real strong.They will be well coached as will the other 2 clubs you mentioned.

Lt.Dan you are right on the money.The home court is usually worth about 5 points.These 2 teams are just about even,they both win at home and then flip for seeding.

Come on True Evadale is gonna be fine in the 1-a district but playing powerhouses like HF isn't a good insight to strength of schedule.Fact is #32 is their best player and anyone will struggle without their best player.After being a pretty easy win for years HF has some potential this year but they don't look to have a basketball guy on the bench.They could be better than they have been ina long time.

I toldya this series was alot closer than most folks think.I still say they split and play for seeding.

Gotta feel for the Warriors.They have an extremely young club and for some reason the powers to be pulled them out of their holiday tourney so they go from Dec 17th to Jan 4th without a game.The worst thing on a young club is not playing.

Because I think the Tigers pressure the ball this year a little better than the Hawks do.

I didn't say who had the better half court game just what the game was going to come down to.Neither one of these clubs is going to turn it over much with the group they put on the floor this year.These games will be close.

I'll have to get my state program to get the teams but I saw a 1-a semi final a couple of years ago.The team that was leading by 1 and had the ball at mid court just simply needed to inbound the ball and run out the clock.The losing club stole the inbound pass and hit a shot at the buzzer to pull out the win.I was sitting across the aisle from the losing clubs fans they left the drum in shock.I think it was Martins Mill and someone.

Let me say this one more time just for grins  ;D The majority of Silsbbe's offense comes off defensive pressure and HJ won't turn the ball over, so this will become a possession type game late.The club with the best half court sets and the one that hits the clutch free throws will win.When you throw in the home court atmosphere at each place you have your favorite.Tigers at Silsbee,Hawk at Sour Lake and an absolute toss up on a neutral floor.Sounds familiar doesn't it ????????????

I would give my lunch money to see Davis and Hand matchup any day.

Woodville had a very good club that year and the Huntington coach knew that was the only way to keep the game close.You gotta take your hat off to the Huntington kids for being disciplined enough to pull it off.

High school basketball is all about matchups and there are some interesting ones between these 2 clubs.The biggest thing everyone is overlooking is Silsbee scores a ton of their points this year off turnovers and HJ isn't going to turn it over much.The Hawks developed a lot of depth while they had their injuries,this series is gonna be closer than most folks think.
