[/quote]okay jw cause i was in 8th at st anne last year and still follow the team [/quote]That was in no way a knock on St Annes,they are always a good jr high club.It was more of a quetion why in the world would would Vidor,typically a pretty solid 4-a club play in a tourney that pitted them against a Kelly JV club.There had to be a tourney that would help prepare them for Nederland,Ozen and Central.

I have seen Woodville play and I don't see all the speed you talk about.Sells is a player but has very little help.There is a huge difference in playing with a lot of speed and playing out of control.I don't think anyone goes undefeated in this district but if they do it will be CH.San Augustine takes 2nd with probably 3 losses that leaves Woodville and Woden for the 3rd spot. 1. Central Heights 2.San Augustine 3.Woden 4.Woodville

They had one more guard that had some potential but I didn't see much else.Sells waS the only player they put on the floor that could handle any kind of pressure.Not sure what the rest of the folks in that district have this year other than San Augustine which is pretty good so the Eagles may make the playoffs.I don't think they will fare to well against Kountze,Anahuac or EC. if they do make the playoffs.

Something has changed about this rule, used to the officials would hit the whistle hard when they entered the floor to let the kids know they were there.I've seen 3 of these called this year already, never seen that before.

That turnover stat will get ya every time.If you bust 20 you usually don't win the ballgame.The Tigers are gonna be a very good ball team but with their speed and lack of size the games in the 40 pt range won't be their friend.

Kountze will win this one going away.It's been a long time since they played in the Evadale tournament.

I said they weren't accurate.It's impossible to get an accurate poll after 3 games.They shouldn't even put a poll out until mid December.

If the polls were accurate and you had 2 teams in the top 10 that's a ton of respect.These preseason polls aren't very accurate.The one at the end of the season will be a whole lot more important and a lot closer to being on the money.

When will they get Grayson back in the shooters hole?Lots of stuff will open up when that happens.Gus can put pressure on the defense but they have to have someone knock down the shots when the defense collapses.Persohn looks like he is getting adjusted to the basketball court(he was getting in foul troubleway to quick) and the freshman is gonna have a few growing pains along the way.That being said HJ will even it's record in this one. Sounds about right.Where are the Spurger folks?They sure have been quiet so far this season.

Great to see Lin doing well over there, he is a class act both on the floor and in the classroom.

They got eliminated Friday.This will give them one days practice at least.

I'm gonna have to flip a coin this week because there are some really GOOD games on this schedule !!!!!!

They are as quick an overall club as I've seen in a long time.They aren't very big but they do attack the basket and have several kids that can shoot it.
