1. Newton- Never bet against the Eagles in this revamped district. 2.Anahuac-Panthers have turned the corner withe AD firmly in control now. 3.Hardin-They will shake things up with a versatile offense. 4.EC-If The QB is back at 100% this spot is interesting. 5.Buna- Not a turnovers difference in the 3/4/5 spots. 6.Woodville-Getting closer every year. 7.Kountze-Roll out the roundball 8.Warren-Real young and learning the basics. I think Hardins passing game will give the advantage for the 3rd spot but if Hank is back at full speed the edge will go to the home team in that head to head matchup,didn't look at the schedule so the pick is based on the EC QB situation.

Duane will have em ready.

This one was closer than I thought it would be.The Warren kids are very young and gritty.They will be fine as they get a little older.

While watching Ohio State vs Miami I saw a familiar face playing TE for the Canes. Chase Ford from Corrigan was wearing #9 and was on the big stage.Last week it was Vance McDonald drawing praise for his play with the Rice Owls.Congrats to both these kids.They both did it the right way.These days when we so many getting coverage for the wrong reasons this is refreshing.

The residency rules are pretty cut and dried as far as the UIL goes.Kids who move can be required to set out for a calendar year but then the old coach has no control over them being released.The ones that don't move are the ones that are usually not given the opportunity to play.FYI kids who move repeatedly looking for a place to play usually find out why they aren't playing in the first place.

In the grand scheme of things the final rankings are the ones that count but anything that helps motivate the kids is definitely worth the ink.

[/quote]The winning attitude is the hardest part.This group is very young and will have to learn on the fly.The young coach will do a good job and will get them headed in the right direction. This is a good group of young men and they will develope in to a good club it's just going to take awhile and they are in a brutal district.Good luck Warriors.

I hate to pick against theWarriors 3 weeks in a row but I gotta agree with ya on this one.The new coach is gonna do a good job eventually but the program is gonna have to build up their numbers and that's gonna take awhile.A 2-a program is gonna struggle when they dress 21 players.

No disrespect to Deweyville but I think their 35 came against Sabine Pass.There is no comparison between SP and Evadale.I think the Rebs win this one by 2 TD's.

There will still be a very good club left out of the playoffs.Newton looks to be the favorite.I think EC takes the second spot then it will be a war.Anahuac,Buna and Woodville all are close.This district is gonna be fun to watch.

Yep,he looked pretty solid.

To say either club looked good in this one is a stretch.I didn't keep any stats but there had to be at least 10/12 turnovers combined.The thing that concerns me the most about Warren is their lack of depth.They dress 21 players which isn't going to let you compete as a pretty large 2-A school.WH did have a running back who looked pretty solid.
