1. Nederland has experience, same group of kids that has competed and won in every level of baseball they have played in. PNG/NED fighting for 1 and 2 everyone else fighting for the other two spots. No such thing as rebuild in Nederland it is RELOAD. Next man up mentality

Kyle McBride.  Great all around player. You never know what will happen with him on the field.

Well the coach should put him in as QB with my take on him any given play he can score and he can easily turn a busted play for 6 he did it last night and with Dayton's oline being a lil shaky and young right now you almost need a running qb to buy a few more seconds or yards

what impressed me the most from last week to this week is the DB play Krautz played well for a sophomore just needs more experience but over time that will come Kimler with his 2 ints. Seay was laying the wood and getting good separation from the WRs when they were blocking him. And I want to say he was 21? laid a huge hit on a wr was getting off blocks great coverage over all was great I really thought this was going to be our weak link on the D but tbh it is a strong point not as strong as our D line but they are dangerous good Hughes reminds a lot like carr he was making plays all night DeShawn and Malveaux were there normal selfs and holmon was holding his own, LBs need some work I would have like to maybe see a few people try out for lb. the middle linebacker needs a lil better footwork get his head on the swivel and when it is a run play he needs to come down hill a lil faster. to many times I saw the linebackers drop back on a run and come down when it was a pass. Minor tweaking and some coaching and the D will be great again
I think they played very well as a team i wonder if your son can play it better or at all
seeing as how at31 graduated from ned in 02, I doubt he has a son old enough to play high school football. :)
;D

Which son you want me to play the 2 year old or the 4 month old?
quit making excuses and get both of them suited up! You're gonna make them sissies!
it's just funny how all these critics or wanna live their dreams through their kids people can say who can play or not. i bet anything you couldn't do it or could play the sport yourself.
Hmm couldn't play the sport myself? If you look inside the locker room you will see my picture for All district LB Junior and Senior year on team that played for State Quarterfinals and a State Semifinals team if you want to know my name for you can go look for yourself PM and I will tell and or I will show you my letterman jacket got to pull it out of the boxes cause I closed the yearbook years ago but Don't get all but hurt when someone tries and critique your son to help him improve to be a better football player, Like Neumann said he underachieved last week and this week he got a little better but still weak at that position. I was analyzing on what I saw in the defense gave my opinion, Don't like it move away from this area or don't get on this board because this board is about giving your opinions you need to learn self control handle and handle yourself better and learn to suck it up. So now take what the coaches say work your son out and improve him to be better and to shut the critics up. Got it?

    Back on topic.

I agree ! I don't know where will end up this season but I don't see a DC . The defense looked flat and the line could not contain ned dline. I hope they get the kinks worked out out or they might just miss the playoffs this year.

Yall are very young this year and these first few weeks might catch hell about how "bad" Dayton is but really yall are just inexperienced and very young. Give it a few weeks and I believe Dayton will grind it out and find a way to get into the playoffs a lot of work needs to be done as a whole for Dayton but I saw good things to come for yall best of luck with yalls year!
