Oh, I know what you're saying now. I think they already placed the placard for last years state title at their stadium, at least it looked like it on tv during a sports cast, and something about the water tower few months ago. Griff, TD, Kicker or KJdad would know for sure.
Alright thanks BG

They got their rings already though, their ceremony would have been the end of the year sports banquet unless im mistaken.
Lamarque has flags with years they won, LT has the championship wall, just minor stuff doesn't have to be spectaclir or anything. I would say a special video on the Jumbotron but..... Lol

That ship has sailed. The Mustangs are looking ahead not back. What we did last year won't help us at all this year.
That's unfortunate for the kids of WOS...

Is there any pre game ceremony or something for the stangs state championship last year?

that game still hurts it never leaves you,but anyways when was the last time big dogs been to a title, yall might own us this decade, thats because coaching but we own yall over all and yall will never catch up,come back to me when yall break the over all wins on us,it wont be long and we will go another 20 years or so run and add to that big lead, lol.
Lol you are way out in left field and missed the whole point of what I trying to say. It didn't have anything to do with a title game/ or MCM or anything it was a perfect scenario on why "atmosphere" is made up crap and don't mean jack. Those 4 deck crowd didn't scare y'all any points at all but wow what a great showing of the fan base then it was over just like that.
Tisk tisk poor poor little Indian boy. That of education I guess is more worried about discipline and building atmosphere and teaching the Cherokee fight song then teaching and picking up skills. I'll say it once and say it again PNG is a cult. Lmao

I wouldnt bet a paycheck on it. But I know why you say this, I did get a laugh out of it lol
As for this year there's no ifs: Week8 we will beat the brakes off your Injuns.
What about the last week of the season?? Lmao

I remember only hearing ball-bearings in them propane tanks from Stephenville 2nd half, I never heard a peep from the other side and that side was packed 3-4 sections up in the Astrodome. Jackets may have had only 8-9K with em.
Exactly. Atmosphere doesn't mean nothing. It's athletes vs athletes. PNG had 4 decks packed.

Were they disciplined?
Absolutely. Like I said on the other post all that discipline and atmosphere is complete made up bs. I remember a certain central game that year vs PNG when the crowd was 3 png people vs 1 central guy and central wasn't fazed one bit from the "atmosphere" and was "disciplined" to destroy PNG 33-7 and I was there when they were "discipline" to beat Barbers Hill by 3. I thought that could have been the year for central but Lamarque got the better of them that day. Like I said on Buddys post atmosphere and discipline don't mean nothing. Does "atmoshphere" make a game fun yeah I get that. But at then end of the day it doesnt get you any extra points or anything just hey look they have a good showing. Just ask PNG in that state championship game in 99 at the astrodome how that atmosphere worked out for them

Nederland PeeWee white is going to be the team to beat this year. The best of flag and PeeWee super bowl teams coming together. Be prepared for something special. "Always earned, never given"
Y'all looking for a scrimmage before this weekend? BC white pee wee

I see that people are trying to correct my statement, but no one is answering my question... Was that a disciplined central team?... The one that ran Nederland off the field?.... At YOUR place?
frog and that crew could ball out back in 06 those Athletes were on a whole other level compared to anyone else. I enjoyed watching them play a couple games
-
It's made up BS. That 2-8 season atmosphere didn't fade any teams that season or win any games. Discipline doesn't really imply to football IMO because all teams have to be discipline to learn the playbook, balance football and school homework no pass no play! and most kids even have a job. So every team is disciplined in one form or another. A more "discipline team" isn't going to win you a game. Scoring more points then the other team will.

42-14 Ltrain rolls porter

I think this will be a barn burner. Last team to score wins the game type of game. I give the edge to BH because they are the passing team. But wouldn't surprise me one bit if Vidor holds them out. 42-35 slight favor towards BH
-
It was in 06 when central beat Nederland but 04 Nederand beat central 58-8. The Dayton was for sure in 08. Because I remember the Dayton fans said they enjoyed watching all of their touchdowns on our new Jumbotron at the time lmao
-
"No atmosphere in the state compares to a PNG Indian football game, by far the best" -all of the PNG fans lmao

Barbe, Sulphur, DeRidder etc……. Talent majority base in Louisiana is the Baton Rouge area and New Orleans area.
Baton Rouge seem to have a lot of big name players but those NO teams as a whole are scary good.

It's on for tomorrow in the prelims fight before Diaz and McGregor. That's why the dogs played Thursday night haha

Have you ever left one job for a pay raise or asked a boss for a pay raise before?
-
55 minutes ago, Mr. Buddy Garrity said:
Kinda funny if you think about it, he got paid then started winning district titles in bulk. Maybe if they gave him another raise those trips out of the region will start happening also.
Smitty said they are saving the next pay raise for Nederlands new DC because the defense is terrible and Nederland has never had a good D

Yup, after he passed Celaya (sp) took over, talk of consolidation began, two candidates were already set and the rest is history.
Didn't a bunch of TJ coaching staff take over Cleveland after the consolidation?

You dont remember Richard Marler.
I do he was a legend, but didn't he pass away in 99 or 2000? But he didn't take over TJ until the late 90s after leaving Austin... I think, correct me what I am wrong on BG?
