The last PNG head coach went 10-0 his first season on the Rez… with a less talented class than the current one they are about to have.

I hope they keep it, always a good test and close to home for both teams before all the traveling we do in district.

I doubt Nederland would… those stands are empty compared to what they were… what’s terrible is been a season ticket holder for 15 years and the person in front of us has 4 tickets and they haven’t came to a single game since the 2009 season…

Marshall mavericks facilities are probably the best in all of east Texas and top 5 in 5A… they really invested in their athletes

I find the argument of moving from 6A to 5A hard now because take an example Peevy leaving 6A West Brook that he brought to state championship to 4A LCM… Faircloth went from loaded 5A to a very bad 4A school.. westerburg (spelling) 6A Allen to 5A Barbers Hill, and way more out there that’s just this area coaches… so that aspect of doing it big on the big stage is hard to argue imo… as far as facilities yes they are a lot nicer at Tomball but for this side of the trinity river PNG facilities are the best in the area.

Some coaches like a 1 team per city aspect of it. Look at Todd Dodge when he came back to hs level… he easily could have had a better job than Marble Falls but he took it because of that aspect. Heard from numerous coaches that’s one of their check list on applying for a HC job.
