While the other upgrades are getting drawn up and going through the next phase. With possible more upgrades to the stadium to be done because of the interest rates that the school district sold at the time and interest rates were in fact lower than projected. Silsbee can claim that title from 2000 till about 2008 when PNG got their stadium upgrade... Silsbee doesn’t even have the best stadium in their district (that title goes to WOS) let alone setx...

Schools are cancelled for the rest of the year... I hope UIL will allow the fall camps to start earlier than years past. Saying 2-3 weeks extra to condition... just my honest opinion. I feel for all the schools with new head coaches to start their system and teaching these kids their philosophy on the game.

Everyone play district play. 2 games against everyone like normal, top 2 teams advance to the playoffs. 1 game elimination til region championship best of 3.

Just no way in my eyes they continue this at a later date... I’m sure UIL will allow everyone that made the tourney to put a * for 2020 “championship” and send every kid a medal.... < that hurt for me to say because I’m a firm believer in a 1st place and loser in a sport. But during this time right now there is no winner at all. My heart goes out to all those kids that dreamed and worked so hard for it to be taken away from them just like that... they will forever and always have that what if question stuck in their head.
