Hats off to you my friend and your team!!! Nederland Black is no Joke!!! BIG,BIG,BIG!!! This was a great Game. This goes to SmashMouth, All my kids are solid in my and there parents eyes!!! And yes we pray because GOD tells us to...
awesome take that smashy mouth
Read my comment he was replying to.  I stated that the Lum White team was not just a product of "Great Coaching" (as someone suggested), but a group of good athletes.  I also stated that Ned Black team was a very good team and without a little prayer involved, Lum White would have lost that game.  So, I don't know where YOUR comment comes from, but get your "stuff" together before you make a stupid comment...Now, take that Doggy Breath.

I have no dog in this race but is there any restrictions on student enrollement or location of home placed on PA? I think I read Beaumont could only draw kids from a certain area of Beaumont. Is that the case for PA?

SECTION 4.  All participants will be certified according to the school in which they attend.  In the case where a school district has more than one elementary or junior high, the STJFL board will make a determination as to how the association will have to split the participants in their association.  The board will consider size of community, locations of schools, school boundaries, etc. while making its determination.  Any child that is home or private schooled must be certified in the district they live in.  No child will be allowed to play outside of their school district without a waiver from the STJFL Board.  The STJFL Board will consider any exceptions or special considerations.

Know the actual facts before you make an assumption.  But if you must know we did not put together a dream team and that is a true statement.  You are going off of what you heard and don't know the true facts
Nope, they're facts.  It was not just confusion on the parts of the organizers.  It was a deliberate disregard for the rules.  Look out when probation lifts...PA is for real!  Meantime, you cannot consider them in the rankings.  When the rules are followed which are put in place to keep teams on a more level playing field, PA should be part of the discussion...until then, they are not a consideration.

PA doesn't count, so I omitted them,

Wow, place aside that fact those boys are good and could play with anybody on the field on any given Saturday.  Give props where it is due,
1.  PNG Grey
2. PA
3. WOS
4. BMT
5. Lum

It could go either way with those teams still a lot of football left.
Believe me I give those PA boys all kinds of props.  They are awesome.  Unfortunately, the PA organizers sought out to put together a "Dream Team"; therefore, because the adults got greedy, you can't consider a PA all-star team unless you let all the other communities do the same.  Then let's compare.  My hats off to the awesome young athletes from PA.  I wish the organizers had not screwed it all up for you guys.  I am glad they let these kids go ahead and play this season.

Keep talking down on those BH LB's; just make sure Dayton's chinstraps are on tight come Friday night.
Nobody is talking down the BH LB's, in fact you brought it up.  There is one thing that you might have forgotten, you can't hit what you can't catch.
All I keep seeing for the last three weeks is how we don't have any speed. Y'all keep thinking that. We have the smartest and fastest linebackers in 19 and 20 4A. Keep thinking our offensive line and running backs are slow too. That is the same thing our last three opponents have said. Look what happened to them. Just because you think our offense is boring compared to the spread don't be fooled. I'm picking BH 24
Day-10
How many moons are in your world???  No way BH beats Dayton by 2 scores.  Good luck to both, but an early congrats to the Broncos.

BAD defense ?.......or we just don't want to give credit to a good offense, cause they have D2 behind their school name?...I caught the later half of the 4th Qtr(9 min), which looked like Lamar thought they had this game in the bag after 3 qtrs...If they played 3 strong qtrs, the only thing Lamar needs to worry about is finishing games!
Nope, I was there...BAD "D".  Hope our Cards get it together
QB position is not the problem.

If Lamar's defense doesn't get any better, this will be a very long season, one with no conference wins.
QB is still an issue in my opinion...but not near as important as the Defense seems to be right now.

lumberton peewee white 19 -ned. blk 18, lumberton still undefeated, had to play without one of there best, but # 20 and #9 stepped it up ,congrats
lumberton peewee red 34  -ned white 7, good game boys, proud of you, go lumberton peewee teams
No R E S P E C T for Ned- B once again.. Thats ok allzone Remember #6 That ran one for abt 70yds second play of game!
the next series he went to hospital Xrays on wrist were negative. Make no mistake- not saying we would have won but he is our big play maker. So if u got to bring up with our best player out. WE did too and he is our player that scores all our points. All Im saying is #6 WOULD HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE. Sense we are throwing out excusses!!! Lumberton is a great team and have a great Coaching staff that can adjust in game and put thier boys in position to make plays. I enjoyed playing ya'll And would play ya'll again tomorrow if we could!
I don't think anyone was throwing out excuses...just stating facts.  You are right, though.  Ned-B is a good team!  Could have gone either way.  Good job to both sides. Let's hope all young athletes come out of this healthy and ready for next week.

So have I
1. Png-G - Huge, Huge, and Huge
2. Bmt-G - Fastest backfield in PW
3. P.A- Fast and physical.
4. Wos - No offense
5. Lumberton W - Very well coached
Don't pat your self on the back too hard..."very well coached".  Y'all have some pretty solid athletes.  If it hadn't been for some gutsy kids and a little prayer, you would have lost to Ned-B who you picked your own team to beat by 26...not by 1!
9.
I wish him good fortune also, although is looks like Garret hurt is shoulder so had he stayed he probably would have the chance to prove the coaches early assesments were wrong.
Thanks, geezer...that has always been my point.  If it's something you really want to do, then figure out how you can do it...through hard work and perseverance.  Just don't quit.  That will never serve you well if you are passionate about something.

Well, week two is down and another 20-4A falls.

Victims of 19-4A
Lumberton :'( (BH win)
PNG :'( (Crosby win)
Nederland :'(  (BH win and Dayton win)

Did I leave any sad souls off the list?
Looks like the best team in 20-4A might be BH.
I'm sure they would be if they were in 20-4a.
That's the point I was attempting to make.
With all due respect, Barbers Hill is a middle of the road team at best.  Beating Lumberton this year is no great feat.  Haven't gotten to see Big Ned play yet, but I don't thimk they are bringing the pain this year either.  Get you some of the boys from Central and tell me what you think.  BH can make the playoffs, but they are not the best team in any district...theirs or 20-4a.

They're right where they need to be, 5th. Just like last year, Lumberton White came out hitting, then all of a sudden, they weren't so fast anymore :D
I will say one thing.  I saw WOS play a hard-hitting Lum Red team that kept them to 6 points & they still won.  I also saw them play BMT-B and trample them.  5th is too low.
1 or 2 PNG-G
1 or 2 LUM-W
3 WOS
4 LUM-R
5 BMT-G

PA doesn't count, so I omitted them.
