Yeah, we had a game in Freeport this year. 2:45 each way from Lumberton. At least we got a Buc-ees stop along the way.
-
Why do you think that? I don’t know one way or the other.
-
You’re exactly right. They’re ALL a bunch of liars. That wasn’t the news or the press though.

You know what I’m afraid of? It’s true, and nobody cares. The left in and of itself is already so corrupt that it’s just another day at the office, and the left wing MSM will not even comment til after the election.
-
Lol. I realized that many years ago.
-
So, what was happening?
-
I’m not saying it’s right or wrong, I’m just saying the fuzz ain’t gonna disrupt the next biggest thing in SETX behind hurricanes.
-
You know that won’t fly...
-
I know right. “Scratching my head” is a nice way to put it.
-
Ok, we can call it temporary. That might be true. Might not be too. And it depends on what the definition of temporary means. 5 months, 5 years...who knows? Cure probably won’t ever happen. Just like the flu. I wear my mask at the games and try to sit away from people in the stands not in our family. I do that so they don’t stop the kids from playing. For that reason, I hope the MCM attendees do what’s asked. You know what’s really freakin ridiculous? The kids lining up 5 yards apart to “shake hands” after the game. They just had their bodies in a massive tangle with blood and sweat and spit being passed amongst one another, then at the end of the game, they have to march 5 yards apart and wave and be like, “Hey girl...”. Stupidity from above. Never ceases to amaze me.
-
Cuz they’ll make him wear a mask. Can’t fit a crack pipe up in there. Plus somebody might be forced to ask him a question about his bank account and the 13 year old Asian girl on his arm.
-
He won’t. He has no sensible answer.
-
You’re right. And it never will either. It’s a new reality. It’s how we let it affect us is what’s important. That’s why I’m glad it’s being “put on the back burner “ finally.
-
I know. Finally.
-
I hope you’re just offering a poor attempt at being funny; because, otherwise, that makes you look ignorant and foolish. Are you saying we shouldn’t do everything we can to protect our children - to protect a human life? Are you also saying that going to work and avoiding the need for a handout is a bad ethic? Please expound on your thoughts.

Lmbo. Oddly enough, their powerlifting is fun to watch!
-
Lmao. Please don’t.
-
Yep. But running against the BC Defense might’ve had something to do with it too! Lol.

It’s a lot more than that. Coaches, kids and community. Gotta have all three. Y’all don’t. You can fill in the blank(s) as to what’s missing. -
And there’s nothing wrong with that either. Happens all the time.

Welcome to Lumberton. After 1/2 time the stands cleared. Probably a 1/3 of the stadium (band parents) got up and left. I get it. They want to see their kids perform just like I would, but have a little respect and community pride. A few weeks ago, the band was set to perform after the game. The players and cheerleaders were held hostage and made to sit and watch the band before they could leave the field. It was disgusting. Not the performance, the band is good. But the fact that the band parents (not all, but many) cried and whined and complained that they didn’t get any support from the athletic department. Stupid. The band is a part of the game, and I enjoy them. But when the FOOTBALL GAME is over, the kids who’ve been playing all night, bruised and banged up, hungry and ready for a shower shouldn’t be held hostage. And if the football parents, players, cheerleaders are forced to stay and watch the band, isn’t that just false support and a lie anyway? I wonder if after the next band competition, the band members will be forced to watch the football team run some plays or lift weights. Pure crap.

Lol. I hear ya. Even though you’re the only one that has ever uttered that phrase. -
No. But they finally got a team that can win a few games in a fairly weak district. Every dog has his day. Let em enjoy it.
