All good points. I feel much like you do. I don’t think that an 8 year plan is necessarily rewarding anyone though. They’re not going anywhere. Do background checks, due diligence, issue green cards and get em on the tax roles.

Being the devil’s advocate: a) they’re already here, b)the path is an 8 year process and c) they’re doing menial jobs which many unemployed Americans don’t want in the first place - at least they’ll be paying taxes now.

I agree 100%. Senseless. I’m talkin bout a family that’s been here working illegally for 7 or 8 years. Have kids born here that have been going to school here. No legal problems aside from illegal entry into our country. Good “citizens” otherwise.

I don’t disagree. I’m just skeptical of the intelligence of the Republican Party. They continue to shoot themselves in the foot. His electability may not be what it was before either. Personally, I like his brash in your face attitude, but I don’t think the majority of people care for that style.

That’s so very true. I don’t think he has a snow ball’s chance, although I would vote for him if he gained the nomination again. It was a polarizing divisive move that may bite them in the butt down the road. Not a single good thing came from it.

Time served does not necessarily equate to right vs. wrong necessarily. I always say “question everything” (unless my mom was involved).

But they already hate him to the extreme... QED a waste of time and our money. It’s like shooting a corpse. If anything, they risk revitalization of Trump supporters by showing their ass with a crappy prosecution - which it was. I don’t think so... if anything I think it will hurt the true R’s that voted against him in the 2022 elections. It’s all conjecture at this point though.

I don’t believe Donald Trump will get the nomination for the 2024 election. Not to say I wouldn’t vote for him, because I would. The crooked and/or lying politicians (the vast majority on both sides imo) don’t want him. They never did. It wasn’t supposed to happen.
