That's one FAN. I can assure you that no coach or player thinks that the Kennadale game will be anything other than a tight game.

WOSgrad reacted to NDOMAKONG in Jack Dallas
I have to think that will be a big selling point, not many schools would make an offer to encourage playing both sports, totally deserved as well. Hope to see him in red and white fall 2017.

I knew Jack had gotten a baseball offer, but I didn't know about football.
Congrats, AGAIN, Jack!

WOSgrad reacted to Scatright in Woodville new AD starts off bad
Welp, Woodville is on the clock for hiring a new HFC/AD in two years. No wonder there is a revolving door there.

Congrats Indians on winning another district championship. You guys have had an excellent baseball program and 20 straight seasons into the playoffs. Very impressive.

Sorry, folks, I hate to inform you of this but this, but the above article is a HOAX!
I mean. come on, y'all didn't see that, too? First, the article notes that the folks in Lamar didn't have a whole lot in the way of facilities. BALDERDASH, I say. There is no way that a high school football program can produce NFL caliber players without the latest in state of the art facilities. I mean who can get players ready to play that caliber of football when your idea of an indoor practice facility is practicing underneath the bleachers? I mean, for goodness sakes, ladies and gentlemen, they play and practice on.....GASP.....GRASS!!!
Second, there is no way on God's green earth that a town that small can produce that number of NFL players! We have been told again and again that the only way that you can draw attention from college recruiters is if you come from a big school. The experts tell you that if you play ball in a small town, the best that you can hope for is flag football at your nearest community college!
Sorry, folks. The article made for nice reading, but this is obviously a hoax!

WO-S and PN-G are gonna scrimmage (basically they took Nederland's spot as scrimmage partner and Nederland took PN-G's spot on the schedule).
Jasper? Well, my understanding is WO-S wanted to play and I'll just leave it right there.

KJ Miller with a 3 run walk off double.
Final: West Orange-Stark 7, Little Cypress-Mauriceville 6.
Outstanding effort by a couple of Orange County teams.

WOSgrad got a reaction from kicker in How is Silsbee's off-season progressing?
Here again is something that I doesn't understand. You state that on one hand that a playoff run in a player's senior year is usually not taken into account by FBS schools, yet in the next breath you trumpet Ozen's history of getting players signed to a FBS college. If the issue is recruiting in nature, then it really shouldn't matter whether Calvin suits up this year as an Ozen Panther or a Silsbee Tiger as the book is generally closed on him recruiting wise. To me, it makes no difference as long as Calvin and his family feels that they benefit in ALL life matters from either staying in Beaumont or moving to Silsbee. We can all state that we think we know what is best, but when it comes down to it, the only ones who really know that are Calvin and his family and from what I have gleaned they don't brashly go into decisions like this.
And to attempt to shame a 17 year old kid to do otherwise is indeed...shameful.

There is one thing that just hasn't made sense to me during this battle...why is Ozen being termed the "bigger" and Silsbee the "smaller" school? But for an administrative decision by BISD opting Ozen up into Class 5A, Ozen and Silsbee would be in the same district! So how could staying at a school which, according to the UIL, is in the same classification by ADM help you get the FBS scholarship that the other one couldn't?
