Game 2 of a Class 5A area round series from Pearland High School in Pearland at 5 pm.  La Porte holds a 1-0 series lead after winning last night 4-2.  Arrangements for a Game 3, if necessary, have yet to be announced. The winner of this series will face the Deer Park/Fort Bend Kempner series.

Game 2 of a Class 4A area round series from Kingwood High School in Houston at 12 pm.  Barbers Hill took a 1-0 series lead with a 9-4 win last night.  Game 3, if necessary, will take place 30 minutes after Game 2. The winner of this series will face Brenham.

A Class 4A area round playoff from Dekaney High School in Spring at 3:00 pm.  This series was shortened to 1 game after last night's game was washed out. The winner of this game will face Montgomery.

Game 2 of a Class 3A area round series from Porter High School in Porter at 12 pm.  Bridge City took a 1-0 series lead with a 10-0 victory last night.  Game 3, if necessary, should take place around 3:00 p.m. this afternoon. The winner of the series will face the winner of the Caldwell/Huffman series.

Game 2 of a Class 3A area round series from College Park High School in The Woodlands at 2:00 p.m.  Huffman took a 1-0 series lead with a 15-4 victory last night.  Game 3, if necessary, will take place 30 minutes after the completion of Game 2. The winner of this series will face the Bridge City/Rockdale winner.

Game 2 of a Class 3A area round series from Morris Frank Park in Lufkin at 4:00 p.m.  Jasper took a 1-0 series lead with a 9-0 win last night.  Game 3, if necessary, should take place around 7 pm. The winner of this game will face the Lufkin Hudson/China Spring winner.

Game 2 of a Class 3A area round series from Robinson High School in Waco at 2:00 pm.  Robinson took a 1-0 series lead with a 2-1 victory last night.  Game 3, if necessary, will take place at approximately 5 pm The winner of this series will face the Bullard/Lorena winner.

This game will be continued this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at Tomball Memorial High School.

Game 2 of a Class 2A area round series from Jasper High School in Jasper at 3:00 p.m.  Buna took a 1-0 series lead with an 8-6 victory last night.  Game 3, if necessary, is scheduled to take place 30 minutes after Game 2. The winner of this series will face the Nacogdoches Central Heights/New Waverly winner.

Game 2 of a Class 2A Best of 3 series from Central High School in Pollok at 5:00 pm.  Crockett took a 1-0 lead in this series after a 3-1 victory last night.  Game 3, should it be necessary, should begin around 8:00 pm. The winner of this series will face Elkhart.

Game 2 of a Class 1A Area round best of 3 series from Hemphill High School in Hemphill at 4:00 pm.  Cushing leads this series after a 8-4 victory last night.  Should a Game 3 be necessary, it will take place at approximately 7:00 p.m. tonight. The winner of this series will face Douglass.
