The Big Sandy Wildcats continue their run in the Class 1A Baseball Playoffs as they travel to Lufkin to take on the Price Carlisle Indians in a Class 1A Region III Seminfinal at 7:00 p.m. tonight.  The Wildcats earned their spot in this round by defeating Lovelady in a one game playoff last weekend, 2-1.  The Indians are here via a 2-0 series sweep of Maud. Hopes for a speedy recovery for Coach Huckabay.  The surgery he underwent brings about a painful recovery, even if it is uncomplicated.  It is a shame that he has to give up the coaching position due to potential complications from it as he has done a great job and made it known that he was very happy in Orangefield.

Just in case that this does matter to those wishing to weight in, the "Rayne Independent" is not the newspaper in Rayne, LA.  That distinction belongs to the Rayne Acadian-Tribune.  So it may not be that the coach in question here was "blowing off" all of the Acadia Parish media by simply not responding to this inquiry.
