Tonight's Silsbee/Bellville game will not be played at Atascocita.  The teams are currently trying to secure another venue for the game.

I have just gotten off of the phone with AAW and he has just gotten word that the game WILL NOT BE AT ATASCOCITA!!! They are currently trying to secure another venue for tonight's game.  As soon as that is accomplished we will certainly let you know.

One thing you may want to check on.  Both the Central schedule and the Stadium Schedule for the Thomas Center that I received from BISD lists the game at Central as a Saturday, November 3rd game.

It has clouded up pretty good down here in Katy, but no rain today yet.

Other than the mention of the STARR testing, there is nothing aside and apart from standard UIL rules.

Game 1 of a Class 2A Best of 3 series from Huntington High School in Huntington at 7:30 p.m. The winner of this series will face the winner of the Crockett/Woodville series.

Class 1A Area 1 game playoff from Lovelady High School in Lovelady at 6:00 p.m. The winner of this game will face the winner of the Big Sandy/Garrison game which will be played on Saturday at 7

It is not raining over here, yet.  But it sure is close.

It looks as if the UIL may be sympathetic and if teams can get arrangements, they can play tonight.  At least one local series (Warren/Elkhart) has obtained such a waiver from the UIL and will start their best of 3 tonight.

According to the Enterprise article, they were supposed to start those today.  So we will probably start getting info trickling in with regard to who interviewed.

I never would have encouraged those coaches to leave the kids, and if I felt it was necessary to leave those young men I would have left a coach behind until I got there.
