What I heard was that the operative word was a 4 letter word that started with "fe" but it did not end with "ud."

I'm not a betting man, but I would like some of that action as well!

Excellent news, the prayers continue.

Oh, I have already been in contact with Coach Rowe and he was kind enough to give some insight into the Brahmas this year. Thank you for your offer though, I'll take any help I can get.

Keep us posted! It sounds like she is a little fighter! We continue to pray for her.

Interestingly enough, AAW and I were pondering last week what additions, if any would be made. I can tell you that all 5 teams of 11-4A-II will have a preview posted (and a reminder, I will start posting those on July 1st), have their schedules and standings on the site. Beyond that, it depends. As Shepherd and Tarkington are long time teams in the coverage area, they will be closely followed. The rest will probably depend on what followers. if any we, get from the other schools. We've been willing to expand the boundaries if a fan base makes itself known. We'll have more on that as the season nears.

SETCA High School All-Star Game/THIS WEEKEND AT 7:00 PM!
WOSgrad replied to WOSgrad's topic in High School Football
Congrats to the West who won this game 21-16. Ozen grad Josh Boyd tallied all 3 scores for the West, 2 through the air and 1 on the ground. Jasper's Tiger Williams and Silsbee's Dontre Thomas tallied the East touchdowns. Congrats guys and good luck in whatever meets you in the future. -

Congratulations, Chase! -
Impressive list. Perhaps some of those in your new district could follow suit rather than taking on a Louisiana Class 1A and Louisiana class B team.
-
Who are y'alls non-district opponents, again?

1️⃣ @kadonharrison I'm Beyond Blessed to say I've received an offer from The University of Louisiana #GeauxCajuns

Buddy will be back in a sec, he's in his garage hunting another mailbox. -
24-0. Remember that number? I don't think Coach Dubois will be faced with the decision you are speaking of.

I was told by message that TASO will release rosters on the day of the games.

My request for rosters has yet to be answered by TASO Beaumont on its facebook page.

I have messaged TASO Beaumont's facebook page and hope they will have an answer for me soon

Silsbee football 7 on 7 Advances to state
WOSgrad replied to BADSANTA's topic in High School Football
Well, I was going to inquire further about this, but after reviewing my twitter account, I think I now now know what Bmt_4now was talking about and I am not surprised. Two of those "gentlemen" have been stones in my shoe as well. -
And as a justification for wanting to transfer, I have no problem with that. Certainly, Hudson and Martin, both reputed to be bright young men as well as exceptional athletes should look out for their future. And they saw what happened at a post Paterno Penn St. in which a national power was pretty much reduced to second rate status after the type of shakeup that appears to be taking shape now at Baylor. The question, though, then goes to whether or not this creates a moral duty on the part of Baylor to grant them their releases. Again, without mandate from the NCAA, my answer would be no. Look, I am not saying that Baylor possesses any moral high ground here as quite simply, they don't. And those here that try to equate a single incident at a local High school (which by the way, was cleared by a federal district court, a start district court and various courts of appeal) to the goings on at Baylor is pretty ridiculous. And as I stated earlier, pragmatism alone dictates that Baylor should grant the releases. But as far them having a duty to do so, I just can't go that far.
