If you can kill Kountze on the boards you will beat them. Edwards #4 is probably their best rebounder but he's undersized. He's injured and not playing in this tournament. He probably won't play Saturday against East Chambers either. McMahon #3 is also still out. I'm also seeing a lack of defense as you can see that Broaddus scored 59 in the 1st game against them... Hopes this helps.

I know the Kountze and Deweyville Girls are playing on Friday in Kountze, followed by the Boys game against the Kountze Alumni. District play for the Boys doesn't start until 1/2.

Not at all. And we still have the Tenaha Holiday Hoops tournament on 11/28 with some nice teams in it! Also, they have a TOUGH test against some former Kountze Lions this Friday in Kountze (it won't count towards their record though) Lol! They're playing against some former players from the '04, '05, and '07 State Championship teams.

I questioned that too. I see Aransas Pass dropped a few. They could also be looking at "who" Kountze lost to. I would count the loss to LC-M as a bad, BAD loss. I wasn't there so I'm not sure what happened... I will say that Kountze hasn't had their steady lineup yet.. Edwards #4 missed a few games in the H-J tournament and the other starter McMahon #3 only played in the West Brook game.

I wouldn't say that. If you're a decent freshmen or sophomore at Kountze you'll more than likely be on Varsity. When I played it was very rare that you had a Sophomore on the Varsity squad.

They have a nice squad led by Colin Hale #20. He's the Sr. PG who makes the team go. Shut him down and it's game over. Kountze beat them by 12 last year in the H-J tourney.
