RCS Sports @Djones8301 sat with me tonight and I told him before the game if Silsbee scores less than 60 points, they lose. I had Huffman -7. Pretty close.

Am I wrong to think it's kind of tacky that the moment Silsbee lost tonight (and I mean not more than three minutes afterwards) schools in their district starting posting the all district teams? Lumberton was the first (not more than 3 minutes after it went final). Just saying.

Well, if you would have told me Silsbee would go 2/28 from 3 line, I would have said they lose the game by 20.

Silsbee was 2/28 from 3point line. Harris had a terrible night. 3 points (after averaging 21 in the playoffs) and going 0 for 10 from 3 line.

It's fair to make that statement. It is the round of playoffs that uses the word "state". Though some use the word "state" in the regional final round. (state quarterfinals) This is just a one year gig on how the state "tourney" is being held. Next year will be back to normal tourney schedule.

It is. I spoke with some family members this morning and they are good with the thread.

All four teams (Silsbee, Huffman, Somerset, and Boerne) have agreed to play the next round (state semifinal) at Delmar Fieldhouse (Houston) Tuesday night @ 7:00 pm.

I wanted to post something about stevenash several weeks ago but his family asked me not to put anything out on the site just yet. I will get with his family again to see if this is ok. This thread may have to come down.

Because there is only championship games in SA this year, there will be no seeding. Region I champ will play Region II champ in one semifinal and Region III champ will be play Region IV champ in the other semifinal. Winner of Huffman/Silsbee will play winner of Boerne/Somerset. The semifinal venues will be agreed upon by the two participating teams.

Still needing sponsors for this broadcast and hopefully future Silsbee basketball broadcasts.

Coach Foster will be the first to tell you that he is blessed with very coach able kids.

I made that line. Huffman is the betting line favorite.

Connally has two pretty special freshmen themselves in #22 Black and #32 Nobles.

East Chambers was not an option. They did not want to host with them playing Friday night in Madisonville.
