I watched Center play Hamshire-Fannett last Friday night. I came away very impressed with Center. They have a PG that is very good, a wing that impressed the heck out of me on both ends and a solid post player that protects the rim very well. LC-M has a good shot but they will need the normal game of late from Elliot and they will need Winn to really have a great game. Need to hit the boards strong as well because Center will have the size advantage.

Correct. No play by just video like what Silsbee does for their home games. EC's Hudl camera. They got permission from UIL to use camera for this game.

That's what I thought. Coaches can still agree on chapters up until regional final. After that UIL assigns the officiating crews for Regional finals, state semifinals and state championship. United and West Brook could have had the Beaumont Chapter do this game like they did all their home games but the decision was to go outside.

The rules are already posted in another thread. Admins and Mods are supposed to inform members about rules, even in other threads. But, just so that we can get back on the subject of this thread, I will do some house cleaning.

You would be very wrong. I get private messages and notifications all the time about such things. I am only commenting about this rule thing because it was asked.

A lot of difference. Particularly in a game thread when folks are wanting updates of the game but a couple of people are having a personal dispute on an entirely different subject than the game at hand. Rules were put into place for many reasons. Don't like it, well........

I expect the middle school assistant to throw his name in the hunt. I mean, if it weren't for him, they would have never won any of those championships.

There's nothing wrong with the idea. Just knowing all the parties involved, I knew it was never going to happen. It was a pipe dream. East Chambers is a fine facility and worthy of hosting this game. In fact, HJ/Silsbee is worthy of having their own event and not having to share with another game.
