Functionality is all that matters. Having big fancy VIP rooms that are at most filled 25% of it's capacity on a regular basis is a waste.

not to capacity. I've seen that "VIP" section of the press box that can hold as many as 50-60 people only have 8 people in it at some games. BISD stadium is even worse. same set up (50-60) and I have personally seen that room completely empty for several games. all the time not having room for broadcast entities.

The Anahuac/Hamshire-Fannett scrimmage for Thursday night has been canceled. Hamshire-Fannett will participate in a scrimmage with Dayton and GCM at Bronco Stadium in Dayton on Thursday.

West was going to be a big time leader on the defense. Had 7 interceptions last season from his corner spot. West also played on the basketball team. It's my understanding that the driver is a starter on the OL and DL. Williams had just moved back to Anahuac. Was going to play football and basketball.

Last night, two football players and a basketball player for Anahuac High School were involved in a car wreck on FM 1985. The two football players were killed and the basketball player was severely burned. I have no names at this current time. Prayers and condolences to the Anahuac community on this tragic loss.
