Shepherd at Coldspring is Week 10. Lot's of other very good match ups that week. If the district title is on the line for both those teams and I'm in Silsbee that weekend instead of at the beach, I'll consider it.

I will attend homecoming (Brazosport). That is my youngest son's 10 year reunion. I will also attend the Jasper game. Other than that, probably will not see any others. I highly doubt that I will be in any broadcast booth this year, but you never know.

Yep. That's why I have those other three listed. But, I have made at least one game at that stadium every year since it opened. Like to keep that streak going.

One doesn't need a football stadium of that magnitude to host large track meets. The location would not be good for an Area track meet. Too far east for the other 6A schools.

Both schools have track facilities on their campuses. There are many high school football stadiums across the state that do not have tracks.

Actually, I'm more fond of Durley/Levias Stadium. Yes I know the stadium on the West Brook campus is named after Alex Durley. But it no longer has varsity football games played there. I also get naming rights and the dollars that can be used for the school district. That's a very good thing. Just as long those dollars don't end up padding someone's personal pocket.
