3-2 Silsbee in game situation. Scored with 2:30 left. Both 1st teams still in scrimmage. -
Not sure where they live then or now. Just know she is now employed at HJ.
-
Yes they were. I miss them too. Just don't miss having to produce it every week. I've been saying for the last couple of years, if all I had to do is show up, put a headset on, do my thing while others produce it (bring equipment, set up, break down, etc.) then I would still be doing play by for games and do the show. So far, nobody has offered. LOL
-
Somewhat. Those were mine and Todd's baby. We did everything to make those happen. With Todd gone and me getting too old and lazy, one of our other broadcasters would need to take the bull by it's horns and produce it. I might could make an appearance or two to sub in, but I don't want to be the main man and be responsible for the show. Also, our connection with Hamburger Depot is no longer the owner of the franchise. Would likely need another venue to host.

Awesome!! We have kicked around the idea of bringing back our local audio version of a Friday night scoreboard show. Used to have a call in with it as well. It would require me staying home on Friday nights or leaving at halftime of games.

Astros pitching lineup for 4 game series with Baltimore: Today Alexander Friday McCullers Saturday Javier Sunday Arrighetti

If he transfers, from what I have been told, Brenham will not sign off and I wouldn't expect a DEC to rule him eligible. He would have been better off transferring before school started. It will obviously be transferring for athletic reasons.
-
Maybe so but he won't play this season in Texas.
-
He will have a hard time transferring and playing this season.
-
Players mother is employed at HJISD. He transferred before the assistant landed a job at HJ.

Sabine Pass 2025 season in doubt??/SEASON CANCELED
AggiesAreWe replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Football
Word I am getting is that Sabine Pass is canceling all their non-district games but hopes to be able to field a team for district games. High Island is indeed canceling their season but will play a Middle School season. @Bigdog @Matthew328 -
Thanks Bigdog!! Much appreciated!

Both Sabine Pass and High Island struggled to finish the season last year. Looks like that carried over to this season. -

Only 10 showed up for practice Monday. -
Astros lose 7-2. Framber ended up going 5 innings. Gave up 6 in the first, 1 in the 2nd. Mariners lost as well so Houston still up 1 1/2.
-
Inning finally over. 6-0 Tigers. Framber may not last 4 innings. Was a 33 pitch first inning for him.
-
Trammell is injured and being replaced in CF by Melton.
-
Well this wasn't the start we needed. Framber has given up 5 runs on 3 hits, walked 3 and has yet to get a batter out in the first inning.
-
And I predict it will be 14 straight titles and 85 game streak at the end of the regular season.

TepAndStepp Class 3A/4A Season Preview Podcast
AggiesAreWe replied to Matthew328's topic in High School Football
I believe you posted this in the wrong thread. This thread is about their 4A/3A podcast. -
I am pretty confident there will be. Three teams make wild card. Currently, Seattle is behind only the Yankees (1 game) and tied with the Red Sox. They have a 2 1/2 game lead over the Royals and 3 1/2 game lead over Cleveland. Therefore, Houston currently has a 1/2 game lead over Yankees, 1 1/2 over Boston, 4 games over KC and 5 games over Cleveland. I don't see KC or Cleveland or Tampa Bay or Texas over taking any of the two for a wild card spot. 36 games left to play, so lot's can happen and the trend of late isn't good but I believe Houston will make playoffs as division winner or wild card.
