hmm the same way that our girls team beat orangfield IN orangefield by 17, then came back and lost to them by 11 at home... yea its been done before... nice try thoughh... jus to let ya'll know silsbee only beat us by 10 and we played terrible and they played good... there not that much better than us if there even better than us at all... get off silsbees bandwagon... You just keep clinging to that story. :

Well, after over a week hiatus battling pnuemonia, I will try and make a go of it tomorrow night when the Orangefield Bobcats come to town to take on #1 ranked(Setx poll) #8 ranked (TABC poll) district undefeated Silsbee Tigers. The Bobcats are coming off a very close loss to Hardin-Jefferson, 48-43, where they had a great opportunity to upset the Hawks. Orangefield has to try and keep pace with WOS to position themselves for that third place spot. I big upset win here would help in the Bobcat cause. The Tigers are trying to remain undefeated and grab that district championship which will enable the Tigers to get a first round bye in the playoffs. More importantly, a little easier road to the regional tourney. Silsbee defeated the Bobcats the first time, 62-42, back in Orangefield and come in 18 point favorites in this one. Silsbee has had a couple of key additions to the varsity team as of late and this should only bolster the depth advantage the Tigers have over the rest of the district. Broadcast time will start at 7:15 with tipoff around 7:30. Come on out and catch some great high school basketball or just listen right here for all the play-by-play action. Granny please let's be realistic. This would only happen if HJ was without a significant player or two. The team that Silsbee has and the team that HJ has it will be a good game. I would be willing to bet that if HJ and Silsbee win out and that Coop's line will be Silsbee -10. That is respectable however to say that Silsbee will win by 33 is just plain stupid!!!! :D I agree!

Wrong again, you need to get your facts straight. Silsbee has started since the start of district this lineup: Shannon Robinson Sr. Nick Walters Sr. Pheal Hill Jr. D.C. Stallworth Soph. Prentice Lane Soph. In fact, you can go to the game archive of Silsbee/HJ and hear the starting lineup yourself. I broadcasted that game, I was given the starting lineups of both teams. I am looking at them as I type. Pheal Hill, Jr? Prolly spelled Phil Hill, Jr. I went to school with Phil Hill, from the 6th grade thru the 12th. Good athelete. Football was his thing. I saw a little of one of his sons in the game against Houston Jeff Davis, played here in Houston. Maybe it was the same son. Brings back memories. Kewl. DB aka ~ Kountzer ~ His name is spelled Pheal. The "Jr." was his grade classification, not being a second.

Travis Williams is the coach. He is legendary coach Fred Williams son. Travis has been an assistant at Kountze and Ozen. Silsbee is his first head job. Travis is fun to watch, he gets very animated on the sidelines. I might add that assistant coach Ira Brooks does a tremndous job with the team also.

Oh, and to answer your question, yes they will win some of their remaining games by less than 20.
